Hey guys
I am not sure if this is the right place to post this but everyone is really nice in this part of the forum so I thought I would get some good advice and maybe some empathy! LOL

I am having a really hard time finding juice that I like that I can vape for any length of time. I have found two that I can do so but I get really tired of vaping them constantly. One is RY4 from FS and the other is a Menthol

I have ordered several other juices from different vendors and either they do not have much flavor or they are so strong that they make me nauseated when I vape them for any length of time. I just got some new stuff from BWB last week. I tried them. I got Espresso which almost gagged me. I got Malty Toffee which tasted okay the first few vapes then it got sort of bland. I then got Applewood tobacco. I liked it fine but then I got really nauseated after I vaped it for a little bit so I had to stop. I put them back up to see if they maybe are better after a week or so.

I have had this issue with some other juices such as watermelon that I got previously. I have some great cinammon but I cannot vape it for long either. I have been taking my RY4 and adding stuff to it because after I vape it for most of the day it gets to the point I cannot even taste it anymore.

I then change off and do menthol or add some caramel or butterscotch to it to jazz it up. I just am so frustrated I have spent a bunch of $$ on all this stuff and it seems like my taste is never going to be satisfied. I cannot do real sweet stuff and the fruity stuff always seems sort of tasteless to me. I was excited about the Applewood cause it was a good strong flavor then uggh.

I honestly do not know what to do. I just cannot keep adding more liquids to my inventory as it just is too expensive and I get more frustrated when I get excited about something else coming in and then I get my hopes dashed when it is not good.

Sorry for the downer. I have been contemplating posting this for over a week now and kept putting it off but I need help here! I am at my wits end!

Hi Star,

I can sympathize with you.. I have spent hundreds and hundreds on juices I didnt like.

One thing you can do is trade them to theirs that are wanting them in exchange for something you might not yet tried. Just an idea.

I went to making my own DIY and like it much better than most of what is out there. Is way cheaper also. I first purchased about 50 bottles of juice and hated all of them. What a lot of money spent. But it is a learning curve involved..

I get my flavors from tastyvapor,us and my nic unflavored from a couple of other sources. Yes, It takes a little trial an error but is so much more worth it and Cheaper too.

I just look for the categories of what I like, Coffees and Tobaccos and try what they have. Mix to strength I like and pull out a winner from those. I can make it as strong or as lite as I need in the flavor dept.

Hope you find yours.. It takes some time and money for everyone. Believe me.. This usually doesn't come easy but you will get there if determined.

Hmmm, are these juices that are making you feel ill PG liquids? You may have an issue with PG. It happens.

Also, I think everyone goes through a similar thing where they'll vape something, love it, and then get to a point that they just can't vape it anymore, or at least for a long time. You're not alone. I don't now if that makes you feel any better though. :(

The key to staying happy for me has been to find 3 or 4 flavors I enjoy and switch cartos a couple (or few) times during the day. I do notice that if I stay on one flavor all day, it will start to taste "off" or just lose flavor. I thought it was my cartos at first, but would try the same carto the next day and it tasted fine and good to me again.

Hang in there...keep trying!

Hi Star,

I haven't been vaping long either, but my experience has been very much like Bianca described. Sometimes what tasted good yesterday is not good today. I generally switch flavors about five times a day. I have several different cartos, and just switch them whenever I feel like it. Also, don't forget to go back and try liquids that you did not like at first. Your taste buds change as they clear up, and things will taste different to you over time.

Good luck, and stick around! You will love PIF!! :)

I’m glad you posted and hopefully you can hear some of the stories of members’ search for the elusive Holy Grail juice. For me, and I would guess most of us, it does not exist. After many months, I have narrowed my preference down to dark flavors, hearty tobaccos and several mint type flavors. I find that sometimes I can vape a flavor nearly all day but then there are days when I find myself swapping out different flavors three or four times a day. It’s kind of like having to decide what I want to drink at the moment. Soda, iced tea, coffee, water. Or maybe none of those will do at that particular moment so I will have a glass of orange juice instead. The lucky ones are the ones who find a flavor (like your RY4 is to you) but they also find 3 or 4 other flavors they can turn to when the mood strikes them.
The rest of the time, it's just fun to try different flavors like the PIF thread offers.
I would also like to say though that the nausea concerns me. That could a sign of too much nicotine. Headaches are another very common symptom of getting too much nicotine. You may want to try to lower you mg level. Just a thought but I’m sure others will have some thoughts on that as well.

Keep in mind that we are all pioneers here on a journey to a better vaping experience. We all have to find our way and it usually does take some time and effort to figure out what works for each of us. This forum and all of us PIFers are right there with you girlfriend. You are putting in the time to make this work for you. I see a rainbow on the horizon for you and there is a pot of gold at the end of it.
I do have at least two flavors that I would love to send you. They are very different and could turn out to be a nice "change of pace juice for you". PM me your addy and I will get something out to you on Monday. Include the mg range your prefer and the kind of e-cig you are using.
Hugs, (Hang in there)
Tracey :)

I think most of us change up flavors alot. I seem to rotate between about 10 flavors. Somedays one will taste good and not another. Just keep a variety on hand. The longer I vape the more narrowed down my flavor preferences become. I wonder how in the world did we ever smoke 1 brand day in and out and not tire of it.

Thanks everyone for the kind words, thoughts and advice. I too thought that it might be the nicotine was too high due to the fact I started out on 24mg and went up to 36 on some of my juices as I was still getting cravings until I did that.
However I only get nauseated on certain juices so I don't think that it is the nicotine. I can go back to my tried and true two or three and my stomach settles down.
I am using a pg/vg blend. Most of my stuff is either an 80/20 or a 70/30 blend. My RY4 is a 50/50. I guess I could be having an issue with the Pg? Since the Ry4 is lower in PG would that be a reason it does not bother me like the others?
See that is what is so confusing you just don't know. You have to just do trial and error til it works or still does not from what I have seen and done so far. I really want this to work.
Onward and upward

What level nic are you vaping? One of the common side effects of Nic-overdose is nausea(and head aches) I know if I vape anything higher then 15 mg I get nausea and headaches fairly quickly.

In general with juice there is some settling...have to find what works for YOU.
I bought or tried through PIF a ALOT like 100 plus different juices until finding the ones I can vape all day everyday. But what works from me...wont necessarily work for you.(and it wont necessarily take so long to find either)
Kinda part of that whole learning curve.

Really near the mexican border.
Now that you have gone to 36mg, to get that fit fixed. Try going down to 18mg and that may get rid of your nausea. Then go to at least 1/2 and 1/2 on the vg/pg.
When I started vaping, I came from american spirit menthol lights, to about 18mg and that was not enough, so I went to 24mg for about a week and then dropped to 18mg again and then down to about 11mg. That's where I was for about 6months and have been dropping ever since. But I always keep one or two bottles of at least 24mg hanging around so I have it, if I have a rather stressful day and NEED the nicotine.
I would cough so hard that I would vomit, when I was vaping pg. Just within the last 4 weeks have I been able to go to a 70vg/30pg blend after vaping all vg for about 5 months.
I would start with lowering your nicotine levels first...since that can lead to rapid heartbeat, nausea, headache and other things.
Then if you still aren't feeling right after lowering the nicotine; go to liquids that are mostly VG (now the flavor is not going to be as much) but you can get flavorings from Perfumers Apprentice, Lorann Oils, Vaporheads, Vaporbomb, gourmetvapor, etc. and add one drop at a time until the flavor strength is about right for you. Of course this also lowers the nicotine content of mg/ml. But not so much that you should be able to tell.
IF I were you I would just buy what I need, in small amounts to make sure you are getting what you want, and it won't cause issues.
Please continue to vape and find your correct needs in small amounts, then you can order large amounts in flavors, strengths and bases you like.
That is what I did, except I got my stuff off of PIF, because it was the cheapest way to get lot's of flavors/strengths/bases without spending alot of money. Try it you might just like it.

Okay Michelle that all makes sense to me. Now I have what is probably a really dumb question. How can I cut down the nic on the bottles that I have here other than buying 0 nic of the same flavor and mixing them?
Can I buy vg or pg and add that to them and cut down the nic that way to vape it? I realize if I do that I would probably cut down on the flavor a bit but I am willing to do that to see if that will help.
I hate to lose all the bottles that I have here already. I do have doublers to do the nic on my cinammon and watermelon so I can cut those easily enough but those I don't like vaping very often. I would like to know how to cut my faves. TIA

Glowgirl I am vaping on an Ego with an atty and with cartomizers. I usually use a clean atty when I get a new juice to try out the flavor before I fill up a carto. I don't like to waste a carto if I don't like the juice. I save my cartos for ones I like.

Well you may want to try pulling the bridge on one of your attys. Especially if you going to dilute with some VG. I dilute my 24mg samples with VG I got at walmart all the time. But anyways direct dripping will give you more flavor so if you have a extra atty try that. I suspect that will solve your flavor issues and that lowering your nic levels will take care of the rest. If that doesn't do it then def try going VG.
