So basically you opened up the toys you got for Christmas, but have no batteries....LOL. You should plug the istick in to top off the charge while you're out. It should take about half an hour to an hour to top off the charge to full. I'm patiently waiting for 4 vape mail packages from the post office. According to the tracking, they all should be here tomorrow, so that means they should be delivered by Tuesday or Wednesday.

No! I was good. :) Only opened the battery so far. But yeah. Dead end atm no juice. No biggie. Shop is 10 minutes or so away. I am floored at how painless and quick I got everything. I flipped the flag up on the mailbox just so I could see if he came. But I have been sitting outside all day chain smoking. (Have one pack left.) Just *knew* he would leave a note and make me wait for it. He's kind of got some attitude. But we heard him drive up and my 10 year old boy took off running. He wants me to quit. So he wasn't letting mail guy go without a fight. Started talking to him even before he opened the door. Lol! I love my boy. He's crazy and hyper and most people can't stand him. But he's definitely fun. :)

ETA: He's already sitting in the truck waiting for us to go get juice. *sigh* He is more impatient than I am. =P

ETA2: Battery is slick too. The wraps... They give some grip yeah? Haven't ordered one yet cause I can't decide. But think it's best before I drop the silly thing.

So you have someone rooting for you to succeed. And he will probably be more than willing to help you refill tanks.

That's why I ordered the wood textured wrap. I figure the texture will give it a tad bit more grip. FYI, Vapor Skinz (the company I ordered the wrap from) ships from Katy, TX. Worse case scenario, you can always duct tape the battery to your hand. That way you'll never drop it.

roflmfao!!! As much as I smoke now I might as well have the pack of cigarettes duct taped. Battery would be the same. :p

Katy is actually nice for the part. I think my biggest problem with Houston is traffic. I can get anywhere in Waco in 30 minutes. I can get a few blocks in Houston in the same time. Life just moves a little more peacefully in Waco. I also have a large family base here so that is definitely a plus. :)

I've been in Houston once. Was there for a week of training at the JW Marriott. My impression of Houston was that outside of the downtown area, it was pretty flat and blah. If you think traffic in Houston is bad, you would hate a big city like NYC.

Nah. NYC offers a trade off. Culture and art and improvEverywhere! :) I just couldn't find much to love about Houston. I moved there from the "hill country" near san Antonio though. So I was used to beautiful scenery.

I grew up on Long Island (east of NYC) and moved to the San Francisco bay area after graduation from college. I moved back here 12 years ago and live about an hour northwest of NYC (pretty close to the US Military Academy at West Point). Still love NYC the best, although I can go without the cold winters and the snow. I've flattened two tires and damaged two rims from potholes due to the weather. And my daughter totaled a brand new car last month due to the winter weather. She literally totaled it on the 13th day after we picked it up from the dealer and the car only had 660 miles on the odometer. We picked up the replacement car last week, and the dealer absolutely loves us because we bought two cars from them in less than two months.

A couple of you posted 50w boxes. If I went that route, would I be better off spending a little more and going the 100w / 150w /##w? Is there a big difference between the Sigelei / eLeaf / ipv3 that would cause someone to choose one over the other regardless of brand loyalty? **Edit: my understanding is the eLeaf cannot change out battery but the other can. Wouldn't that be better as I could buy a battery and not the entire box if needed. I fear that the magnets on the Sigelei could cause problems if they lose strength, in poicket with credit card, etc. The safety (user error) of the Provari and box suggestions... are they comparable?

+1 for sigelei; I've had a Sigelei Zmax v3 for almost a year, and it's by far my most absolutely dependable vape; it's telescoping so it can use any battery I take a notion to put in it, and that's very nice. Sigelei quality is outstanding, can't even imagine better.

Joyetech EGO one ...! I would use 4-6mls of 18 a day... pure satisfaction :)

I am also considering a tube style. Thanks for your vote. This seems to be more difficult. There are a few different tube choices but I have yet to hear anyone really rave about any one. They all seem to have the same amount of faults and goods but just in different areas. I think the biggest step I have right now is to use what I have and see what I prefer regarding sub vs. non sub and the tank. At that point that will narrow my choices down quite a bit on the tube styles. I just filled the Nautilus tank and am giving it time to soak for a bit before I try. I definitely don't want to screw anything up by being impatient.

Geez! Is your daughter alright? Hopefully insurance kicked in and you are not going to suffer too much of a loss. =( I wan't to go up north. I will take any cold I have to if it means I can get rid of this heat. My entire body hurts during the summers here. Blech!

So what's the verdict? What do you think of the Nautilus?

Just got home. Had to clean up a shattered light bulb and wash all the sheets and blankets and crap on the room. Glass went on the bed, floor, everywhere. My daughter cut her foot (thankfully it's not bad.) before we even realized what my son had done. Of course he remembered and had a reason. *sigh* We then went to a local Thai restaurant for my dad's birthday. So I JUST got home and read the entire manual for Nautilus, I bought 24 mg and 6 mg on local chicks suggestion. She was 3 PAD smoker too and she said she needed 24 to get past the cravings. But I wanted 6 mg to mix in if the 24 is just too much. So I filled it halfway with 24 leaving me room to add 6 or whatever after I try t out for a bit. Letting it soak now and catching up with you guys. Still not sure what iStick should be set at to start.... So need to look that up.

Safe vaping means never leaving a charging battery unattended. Ever.

Thank you. I didn't. I did see vaporAuthority sold charging bags. Is it truly necessary or safer to throw it in one of those bags? I would think it would be worse because it would be trapping heat. I was curious about it though and you guys *are* the authorities. =) Didn't hurt to ask. I didn't buy one.

Pam, be sure to turn it down before you draw. I neglected to do that yesterday and it was unpleasant. You can gradually turn it up if need be. :)

Cool. Thanks Andria! As I said earlier, I am still looking around at the tube style choices so any votes help out quite a bit. So many options to choose from, it makes it difficult to narrow down without experienced voices helping. I appreciate you guys so much for taking the time to respond.

If you can still find the sigelei zmax's, v3 or v5, they're probably dirt cheap at this point with sigelei having all these high wattage boxes out now; they may be cheap but they're excellent; I thought the single button to navigate the menus would be a pain, but it's really not, when you use it for a while. It was the first "real" mod I bought (after the iTaste vv3), and I've never regretted it; if nothing else is quite getting the job done, the sigelei always works, perfectly.

With the iStick set in voltage mode and the Nautilus tank, I currently have it set at 4.3V (which translates to just over 9 watts). I had it at 5V before, but I found that if I was chain vaping, by the 5th or 6th vape it tasted like the juice was starting to overheat. Lower and the juice isn't being converted to vapor quick enough.

She's fine, She wasn't paying attention and the car started heading towards the shoulder. She overcorrected and the car spun, ran over the snow and ice piled up on the side of the road and she impacted the guard rail. The damage didn't look that bad as the impact only damaged one headlight and the bumper, flattened two tires and dinged the wheels, but apparently all that ice and snow damaged the underside of the vehicle, the transmission and the engine. Once the repair estimate topped $15K, the insurance company decided that it would be better just to claim a total loss even though the damage didn't exceed the 75% threshold since the car was less than 2 weeks old. Luckily, we're not out of pocket anything since the bank is just taking whatever the insurance company is paying and applying gap insurance to the rest. The insurance payout was actually just $1,000 less than what was owed on the car and we had put nothing down. And when I spoke with the bank, they said that they stopped charging interest on the loan as of the date of the accident.

If your using tanks like the Nautilus where you wouldn't ever push it past 20 or 30 watts, isn't a mod that pushes out 150 watts overkill? You really wouldn't need a mod like the Sigelei unless you were sub ohming and needed all that extra wattage, right?
