Need help with M1A1 tank please

Just got and absolutely LOVE the IPro. I can't put it down and the juice tastes so much clearer and smooth. Incredible!

Anyway my problem is that I put on a 801 to 510 adapter, boge pre-punched carto with the tank and nothing! LED stays red. The IP works great with the IVK visions. I really want a tank because I'm going through juice like crazy. I also tried the cartos with a M&P tank - same problem, just dead.

I imagine it may be the adapter but I do have two of them and neither works.

Any idea what is wrong? I'm going on vaca Monday and really really was looking forward to using my new IPro and tanks without having to worry about filling/burning a cartos constantly.

That has to be the adapter causing a short ( see over current protection WORKS !! ) there are so many variations we cannot keep up with it , Loosen up the carto while pressing the button does it go blue ?
also change how you tighten what first like adapter first them carto and Vise versa

It turns blue with just the adapter then on. When I put on the tank loosely it is still blue but it is too loose to get a hit. When I tighten the tank all the way on it stays red.

I got the 801 to work with the fusions without an adapter but now I am thinking I should just get a 510 cap and change it. The fusions are great but there is just so much more 510 accessories and I wouldn't need adapters. Is it difficult to switch caps? I am worried I could ruin the mod.

Ok after more fiddling it is working but I am just getting a mouth full of juice. Just went through about 2 ml in a minute. What now please?

Maybe bad punch? Go too far in and the liquid hits the carto center tube.

(that is why I wrote up how to use the punch I came up with - two full turns gets a decent hole without going too deep; I actually do two holes, no leaking even with thin eliquid on an m1a1 tank)

Maybe that is why I am getting a loud gurgling sound?

I was just trying to find your info on how to punch a carto. Can you provide a link please?

Mookie it is fairly east to change the top cap , look in the stickies for " changing the top cap on the Buzz "

Another problem you could be having if you tighten that screw on the tank to far (if you got a filler port on your tank) it will cause the tank to warp letting in air and juice out. I'm thinking more like just a flooded carto since you are new to tanks Mookie. Try taking the tank off your IP and the adapter, and blow out the carto from the top into a tissue on the bottom. Also make sure there isn't any juice in your adapter.

I sure hope you get it working before your trip!

Okay I got one working. I put a new carto in the tank and it is now working - yayayyyyayya!!!!

I only had 2 punched cartos that are Boge. My fusions aren't punched so I was using them alone. But I must say it now doesn't have as much flavor, th or vapor than the fusion. I can't believe it is the tank so I'm assuming it's the carto. That may not be fair to compare as I also have never used a Boge alone. All I know is that for the last couple of days I've been using my new IP with fusions and I have been in heaven! That combo takes vaping to a much higher level of satisfaction. I can't wait to try punching some fusions and using them in the tank!

My only complaint: I have to stealth vape at work and now miss my IP all day and can't wait to get home! So Mike you next project is to somehow develop a smaller stealth vv pro with the vv wheel control, larger button, same strong power at half the size!!! I wouldn't mind if the battery length was shorter. I'd just keep an extra battery with me. Could you have this done by next week???

Ahhhhh.......sitting by the pool drinking margaritas and vaping (CC House Blend, Mrs. T's Sugar Cookie, TVP Watermellon, and KBV OMG) all day and night......I think I'm finally figuring out what I like........life is soooooo good!!!

Now do I order a 510 cap or wait for Mike to make my new stealth mod - LOL!!!!!

Another fast way to clear a flooded carto in a tank is to tip it like this with the air hole out of the juice while you puff on it.

There isn't a carto made that consistantly vapes like a fusion.

Gurgling = flooded, for sure.

I am very happy with my 801 Buzz. Was considering ordering another BP and seeing if they could sell it with no cap, and putting my 510 cap on it, so I can just have one for each connection. then again, after using a Fusion for a week.... I may just hide the 510 cap in a box and forget it is there...

It's not working again this morning

This time without an adapter and just the fusion. Same kind of problem though. LED is blue when carto is thread on too loose to get any draw but when I screw it on any tighter the LED turns red. I tried a little fiddling but couldn't get it to work like it finally did last night. Unfortunately I have to leave for work so can't keep trying right now. I did try it with 2 diffferent fusions and had the same problem.

Could there be a loose connection in the cap or something like that? Or maybe it is still just a learning curve?

I am going to soooo miss Bonnie Blue (my lovely blue IP) when I'm gone or if she is broken!!!!! You know what they say: once you go Pro, you never go back!

It might be the cartos shorting out. The last few IKV Mega Fusions I have tried, I have had to mess with the center post on the carto to keep them from shorting.

Nope your carto won't always be flooded in a tank because of the vacuum pressure. When you fill it tho, sometimes the carto will flood because of the air pressure change.

Sorry to hear that it quit working again. Make sure the screw in the center of the top cap is snug. If it's loose, tighten it but don't crank it down too hard...just snug.

The same thing happens each time: red led is on, hit button led turns blue, when you screw the carto on part way the blue light stays on. However, when the carto is fully tightened to the iPro, the light turns red. The only way to get the led to stay blue is when the carto is on too loose to get any draw.

It did work for about 30 minutes last night but now nothing. My husband has checked everything I have tried and thinks the carto and mod aren't interfacing for some reason.

This is so frustrating. I purposely bought the 801 cap and fusions so it would be simple to use. The amount of time and money I have put into this and all the accessories is ridiculous. I can't tell you had badly I want to go out and buy a carton of stinkies!

OK go over this check list for me please
Batteries charged ?? ( use a voltmeter if you have one , they should read 4.2 volts each )
Take off the atty /carto first
Do you have a RED LED light ?
DO you have a Blue Led light when the button is pushed.
DO you have a Blue led with the ATTY/CARTO ON the unit ?
Do you have BOTH red and Blue led lights ?
Do you get a blue led with the atty/carto ON but no vapor ?

then we can try to figure out what is going on .
