I open a new post for this Ato with no heat wire.
Thank you for introducing me to this material. It's enormous.
Ultra low LR ato : 0,4 Ohms.
Mesh : 400
Width : 14mm
Diameter : 2,2mm
Distance beetween electrode : 10mm
Pin : 10w
Iin : 5A
- No burn taste
- Hit and taste are
- Vapor is :p

erik, that's a DC power supply he's using. No induction heating. It's resistive.

pailpoe, what kind of NiMH you planning on using to get 10A @ 1V? How many wraps of the stainless mesh do you have? I wonder if the resistance could be brought higher? Or is there a reason you're trying to keep the resistance very low?

Neat concept. Thanks for posting this. It looks ideal to replace the inside of a cartomizer

im getting very excited on this, im trying to order the parts now

one question whats the material you use to joint (solder) the Electronic probe is it lead? and about the electronic probe its not harmful material when you heat it up and expose to liquid right? doesnt make any harmful chemical reaction when heated right? dont want pailpoe getting sick over this, but im sure he's doing it safely

again your the man..... great great work

Pailpoe,
Interesting about the localized heating. Do you think it's a higher resistance area because the mechanical connection between the tube and the mesh is poor? I assume you are measuring total resistance from the two ends of your ATO. I wonder what the resistance is of just the mesh?

How long have you ran one of these? I wonder if you will see the resistance increase with time or if the mesh is as oxidized as it is going to get?
