Its a great concept and it works fantastic I could watch it with the cap off all day just billow vapor :) But I was vaping at 1.5 LR joye 510 before, I'm trying to go LR with this, but don't think its gonna happen even with a shorty "2 ohm" wire....even if you cut the wire both ends where the nubs are, its still well above 2 ohms, I was hoping to cut one down and get to 1.5, but as easy as it sounds...its not.. the coil would be miniscule. I'm gonna try the jacobs online site see if I can get some really low resistance wire

yeah that's what I was going to suggest. Some higher ga wire would probably do the trick. I'm not really concerned about LR ohms, I'm using VV so I can just crank up the voltage to compensate. Would be nice to know what ga wire we got though in the 2 and 3ohms with the kit to give us something to go by when getting more but then again it's cheap enough at Jacobs to just try a few different ones and go from there.

The only issue I've had so far is with the draw. A few times when I've screwed on the housing it was a really stiff draw. I'm thinking the loops of the wick was up against the vent holes blocking them because just unscrewing the housing and putting it back on solved the problem. Wonder if he could start making them in a see through haha.

OK here's what I did, built 1 setup to test right out of the box with the supposed 2 ohm wire which is incorrect rating for this wire. I metered it out at (after building it 2.6 ohms screw to screw). BTW I am an electrician. I wet it out and burned it...wet burn wet burn with ejuice every time. Nasty funny taste. Decided instead of burning the wick with a lighter, I would take a sealable bottle like a big vitamin bottle, take the remaining 29 wicks put em in the bottle, and fill the bottle with alcohol. I let it sit 15-20 minutes shaking it occasionally. I then put the wicks into a handheld flour sifter to rinse with hot hot water. Flushed them 100% alcohol free. Threw them in the over at 450 for 20 minutes. The difference is night and day The wick stays clean from the first fire all day long....no black at all....nice. I also took the nichrome wire and cleaned with alcohol, rinsed and dried with towel. I also took the whole atomizer and sat it in alcohol 15 minutes, rinsed it and dried it off too, don't forget...this is machined metal, and what do they do when they machine metal? They OIL it, could be some film left on the metal. Anyways its working good now with no off taste immediately upon building a new atty. Hope this helps.

Awesome tips :)
