Hi there Jimho and Ukeman .. just wanted to wave at you guys, my ole friends from back when we started vaping. Also wanted to jump in here and say I LOVE the new Provari batteries, I personally dont care who makes them, I ordered mine from Provape and I even changed out the spring on my Provari myself .. ha ha ha .. had been nervous about doing it but David was swwet enough to send me an email and told me how to do it. The combo of a Provari with the new BIG BOY battery and a Liquinator or J-tank is a match made in heaven for me, vaping sure has come a long way in the past year, cant wait to see what the next year brings!

I don't know if they would have the manufacturer's wrapping underneath but it's worth a look!

The redilast have "large button" tops so I don't think that's the one. I'm betting TF Flame 2400's which are a well reviewed battery.

Did you see this?

.... both ends do look like the TF's- I'll give you that....

If you do open one up pls be careful.... & take some pics for us....

you can compare what you find here:
RediLast 2900, AW 2600, AW 2900 Battery Unwrapping (w/ trustfire 2400 - post 50)

And if you read on that thread you'll see why I'm a fan of IMRs in general over protected when it comes to safety.
I drop everything...

Hey! Where have you been? I just cleaned up my office and found an envelope with an atty inside and your name and address on the return ... never did get around to opening it up- I swear its sitting on my desk right in front of me... you took some cruise and never came back :) Still want to know what was going on with that atty?

ha ha, you never opened the envelope? No I dont care what happened to that atty, toss it if you want. I've been on ECF this whole time, left the thread we were on when I sold my Phidias's .. or is it Phidiae .. oh well :D Got a Monkeyboxx, then 2, 3 .. 4 .. love them, used atty's exclusively on them until the Liquinator and J-tanks came out .. tried them and fell in love, so have been using those tanks with cartomizers for the past few months and love, love love the combo! I chain vape, so I keep one tank on my Provari and another on one of my Monkeyboxx's .. vape one, then the other.

hey stash!
wow you've gone ahead full bore... i too sold all my B F's even the Phids after having them warp out on me and leak all the time.... but i gave up on them because i didn't like the inconsistent vape of bottom feeding (ymmv) and stuck with the Provari's yuck! jk... I am so spoiled by regulated VV... tried a GGTS and couldn't deal with it, and also have a Buzz Pro now.
I hear the MonkeyBOx is pretty nifty with its regulated vv tech etc.. I picked up a SgtArmyVV which is regulated too and low price little feed box but i haven't even used the feeder.. it's really cool; small and light...maybe a bit fragile, but for the price, a great little kick .... pv. So you use tanks with the MB? wow. do you feed the tanks?
The BP and Sgt have dial adjusts which i like for dripping as i am always adjusting and the Vari with its click system for up/down seems like it would be excellent with a Tank mod... where you wouldn't be re-adjusting as much.
If you get a chance send me a PM about what Tank/s would go good with the Vari. so as i seem to be hijacking the thread... sorry.

I only use tanks on my Provari, I like them because once you fill the tank up you can vape for hours and hours .. no dripping needed, no pushing on a bottom feeder bottle .. just non-stop vaping. I have 4 Liquinator tanks and 2 J-tanks, I use an aluminum Liquinator on my Provari because it's the same color as my Provari .. and I use the J-tanks on my Monkeyboxxes. In my own opinion the J-tank is the best performing one. Never leaks, fits on the cartos perfectly, have never had one single problem with my J-tanks, just wish they made a stainless or aluminum J-tank because then I would use it on my Provari too. The Liquinators I have work perfectly, however I did have to return 3 of them and have them replaced because they were too loose. That said Vaporescence stands behind the LQ's in a great way and in each instance they replaced my defective LQ's with ones that work well. Having used atty's for many months I was a little hesitant to try the tanks because I didnt want to go back to using cartomizers, but I changed my mind real fast when I experienced hours upon hours of vaping without having to do anything except inhale and exhale .. once your tank is full there is nothing to do, no fussing, nothing .. just vape, vape, vape. But I know you love to drip, so the tanks might not be something you'd like because you wouldnt have to be drip, drip, dripping all the time :D

So i order two ProVari 2500 batteries with very fast shipping. with the holiday and floods in this area i didnt expect it this week but my question is, what charger do i now need to purchase. the battery dont fit in the trustfire multi charger. I can make it fit but its an extremely tight fit.

I've been using both the TR-001 that originally came with the ProVari kit and the Pila charger- yes the TR-001 is tight but it does fit- be careful when you insert it.

They dont fit in my TR-001 either...I have to wedge them in at an angle, im going to pick up some magnets and weld them to some wire to charge them outside of the unit.

Not possible for now....that is the info I got from AW.

Whatever some "cheap" companies claim, if you have the testing equipment one will see that the mah rating they claim is false.

I know that Provape put a lot of thought into bringing the new 2500mah batteries into the product mix.

Is there any chance of a higher capacity 18490?
