I've been using the CE3 all day and I will say that they are much better then the sample I got a few weeks back...BUT...they do accumulate a SIGNIFICANT amount of eliquid in what I like to call the catch cup (see photos). I've also had a handful of instances today where I got juice in my mouth. It's not even close to as bad as on the sample I got...but it's still a problem if you use the standard mouth piece that comes in each CE3. Of course, they give you the drip tip which could probably alleviate the issue.

An important thing to note. They do not allow eGo cones to fit over them.

Anyway...I'll do a full review in a few days.

Cheers!

Good to hear that these New CE3's you have are working better that the other ones you had.

BTW - You know you can buy "Big Bore" eGo cones that the CE3 fits in.

Sense, I only used the delrin drip supplied with the kit and my metal drip so that's probably why I never got any juice in the mouth. I also checked the catch cup periodically to make sure it wasn't filling up. Like I said they aren't perfect, but they are vape-out-of-the box unlike CE2's which all have to be "modded" to give as good of a performance. I am also glad to hear you are having better results with these. I am a CE2 style carto fan because of vapor and flavor, and the ease of knowing when it's time to refill (unlike filler style, boges are my second choice for cartos tho) so to me these are a huuuuuge step in the right direction.

Try the new ce2's at GV(just out last week), I have not had to make any adjustments to mine and use a higher vg mix. The new unbreakable tubes are amazing. Of course these are the clear version so if you are looking for something not see through stick with the ce3.

I'm trying to try it lol. I ordered it when GV released them and USPS is giving them the scenic tour of the US before they get here for some unknown reason, hopefully today. BTW the CE3 has the same tube as the new CE2 so they are both see thru.

Just got my ce3's I use 90% vg 10% flavor I left it sit about an hour after filling and gave it a toke. Well it tasted burnt so I started trying difrent strengths of draw on it and found I have to draw alot harder to get rid of burnt tatse. I could only get these in 2.6 -2.8 I normaly get my ce2's in 2.8 -3.0 and I don't have to draw as hard. Hopefuly in the future I'll be able to get them in 2.8 - 3.0

I think with that level of VG in your e-Liquid that a higher ohm is going to be your best solution. High VG e-Liquids just don't wick fast enough for many Cartos/Atty.

Can you use an e-Liquid with PG in it?

The reason I ask is that there is a Big difference in wicking performance when even a small amount of PG is added. And a relatively small drop in vapor or increase in harshness.

LOL

I hear you. My last USPS tracking looked like the show dates for Jethrp Tull's Aqualung Tour in the 70's.

Hmm. I've tried these a little while now and I don't think they are for me. Whilst I can't knock the build quality, or the seemingly shatter proof plastics, I just don't like the way they produce cold vapour and there being less of it. Same juice used on the same 510 device (e-power mod) one in the new smokemizer one lot of juice in my usual CE2 XL array tank mod and the difference is frankly ridiculous. The smokemizer has an airy draw, it produces much less vapour and I'd even say flavour isn't quite as good either. Whilst I could get used to it, I don't think I'm going to bother. Why should I? Even a standard CE2 XL performs and tastes better then these for me. Why can't they just make a new version of the CE2 XL with these new plastics? That's all I want!

For me sense fields review was spot on. If some of you guys wanna say 'it's the beta range, the finished ones are much better', that's up-to you. I'm telling you now, Im using the actual ones, as sold, via totally wicked and they really are not as good as the CE2 XL's save for in build quality.

To conclude: I've had these leak through the top mouth piece, went allover itself and that was when carried inside an eGo carry case. I've had fluid go in my mouth, just like sense field experienced. They produce less vapour with the exact same PG based liquid, the vapour they do produce is cold and airy. Even flavour, which really should be where these shine IMO isn't as good as a CE2 either. I'm not ordering any more of these.

I'm sorry fella but I disagree with this. CE2's even out of the box, unmodded out perform these in every way that matters, flavour, vapour and TH. on the exact same device with the exact same liquid CE2 XLs beat these hands down in my testing.

So it sounds like the Carto does what it is supposed to do but the hit just isn't what you are looking for. That's a fair review.

The Bottom Coil design gives a Lighter hit than the Top Coil design. This is what many people are looking for. For others it is not.

As to making CE2's with the same plastic tube, as Nomoreash mentioned, they are already have.

I believe that gotvapes has a flat rate of $5 for International shipping. You can read about them here and see what members have to say. The first part of the thread has a lot of Chat in it. You might skip to the end.

Hi Everyone, my first post in the GotVapes forum...

My wife and I have been using CE2 R5's for the last nine weeks. She uses an e-power and I use a Provari. Previous to that we were using Ego-T type B's so everyone here knows the revelation we had when we tried the CE2's, as in where the hell did all that vapor and taste come from! :vapor:

Right from the start I opened up the wick slots and fitted the BD 3ml syringe tubes. We have five CE2's each which we use each one for a couple of days then put aside for my weekend cleaning-fest.

We are now entering our ninth week with the same ten CE2's. Pull apart, ultrasonic clean, dry burn, reassemble. They just keep going on and on and we love them, so much so that I bought another eight boxes and stashed them away. I'm a bit of a squirrel!

As any CE2-er knows the only downside is the fragility of the tube, which the syringe mode fixes, but that doesn't help with the tube coming off the base and juicing all over you because there is so little metal for it to sit on.

So I am very excited to see these new CE2 Deluxes, and this is the point of this post (got there in the end :) ) I decided I could not wait for a UK supplier to get these in stock and I ordered some yesterday from GotVapes. Yesterday was Saturday. I placed my order at 12:59 BST. At 17:30 BST I got the shipping notice. 4.5 hours between order and shipping on a Saturday.

I am seriously impressed guys, and really really looking forward to receiving these! Thanks! :thumb:

Middle of nowhere
I know this is about the CE3's but I see some comments about the new CE2's.
I wonder if these could be put in a tank system.
I would be more than willing to try if someone wants to donate 1.
As I have several different tanks from several different vender's.
I have to many ce2's and carto's right now and kinda low on funds for a while.
I guess eventually I will get some and try them.
Not in the near future.

Zombitedesade, sorry they didn't work out. I am a CE2 fan myself but was looking for something I didn't have to do anything to before vaping. I will admit I haven't tried the new CE2's. I'll have to pick some up and give them a try.

I'll try and find a uk source on the new plastic version of the CE2 XL's. As if in some strange twist of karma to this thread, for the first time ever, after going out with my array tank and around 3mls of Titan RY4 fluid, I had the entire thing leaked it's contents into the pocket of my hoddie whilst watching Harry potter deathly hallows part 2 in the cinema!

Was so irritated by this, really needed a vape after the film and to' find a strangely soaked through, caramel smelling pocket and no juice left was a little disheartening. My hunt for an 100% I promise I won't leak/crack/burn/fall apart/need topping up every 2 seconds' delivery device continues. Sigh, I loved my array tank too!

The Gods of Vaping can be Cruel sometimes.

Or appear to be cruel. Perhaps they were just giving you a sign that it is time to try some new things?

Yeap I think so Zoid. I have some new mega ego cartomizers on the way, which maybe what I'm looking for. Whilst I've always been a clearomizer guy, I appreciate I'm less likely to have leaking issues when carrying about cartomizers.

I think I'm also gonna look into a rock solid juice box mod, something I can carry about with me all day and is essentially like carrying around a pure bottle of juice which I can just vape away on without fear of leaking everywhere. Something to that dosent mind taking the odd knock or two when shoved in a pocket. A few too many things I've tried now are just not great for on the move vaping.

About the only thing I have found to be fool proof for on the move vaping is Filler Type Cartos.

But once you have tried a CE3 or CE2 or CE2/Tank, it is hard to go back to Filler cartos.
