Don't know of it is because the mini is new, but the fire button is more clicky than the normal dana box, do wish they had stayed with the brushed metal though, as then my moonlight edition kayfun prime would match well with it, but still looks good with normal kayfun prime though

Performance wise, it is no difference, but the mini is smaller, and has shiny metal instead of brushed, I like both the same to be honest.
I have had a lot of DNA mods, but I only use wattage mode, so not the best person to ask about that, will say you can customize the DNA more and has a color screen, but that's the most I can say about it.

Truth - it was REALLY, REALLY, REALLY good stuff!!! I like candy.
I got some free candy at the stinky apartment... It is "renter appreciation month." It was hanging on my door a small thing of some type of weird M&M and TWO sort of jelly joggly UNWRAPPED pieces of heart candy.
I tossed it all immediately.
I also won an "android smartwatch" and I haven't even looked at it yet (the husband went to pick it up, and they took his "winning" picture. I think (I barely use all my phone functions) it may be gifted to the kid.
This place is weird, I'm telling you.
Oh well house looking today. Guess we'll see. NO CARPET is on my list... big time. LOL.

After reading this through I don't think this mod is for me sadly.
I don't use TC ever and it seems a little difficult for me to understand how to use this in just wattage mod.
Guess I'll get rid of it and I only used it for 3 minutes!

Don't give up on it yet! I had trouble getting it to work in wattage at first, but now all is smooth sailing. I'm too much of a novice to be of much use, but someone here will pop in to help you soon.
You don’t have to use Temp control, at all.
Instructions - Main menu page 1
In power mode, The display will read
Power, on top with
Up/down arrow underneath, with a number beside it signifying whatever watt you set then W
Adjust watts with +/- buttons.
If that doesn't work, Instructions - Main menu (page 5) - heater control
Set HCtrl to 0 = off
Screen/display shows
HCtrl 1 ~ 10, set HCtrl to ' 0 ' = Temp control off
allow screen to go blank
should be in power = watt mode
Set desired watt with +/- buttons.
If you fiddle with it for a while I think you’ll get the hang of it.

Once you have it set to power mode, if you hold down, say, the up button until "Power" appears on the screen, the wattage will increase by .5W. Then press up or down, depending on where you want to go, to adjust your wattage higher or lower in half-watt increments.
