So Florida
I still don't "get" the menu and have to try a bunch of times to do anything. Seems I press a button too soon or too late all.the.time.

And I'll go against everyone's praise. The Pico X is the most comfortable mod in the hand I have. Followed by the ProVari Radius. The Dani Mini just isn't quite long enough to be the "most comfortable" in my hand. Maybe the regular Dani Box would be, dunno. I wish the fire button was larger on the Dani Mini too. All that said, the Dani Mini IS comfortable and seems to be the mod I'm coming to use the most.

As far as the issues @classwife is having, I only have one other thing to add ...

Was the thing working before you took it out of the box? ... if so, put it back in the box and return it to CDV, but contact Keith there first. You didn't eat the chocolate already did you? ;)

Sorry you are having issues with the Dani Mini Classwife. :(

EDIT: And I dearly wish the Dani Mini changed wattage in .1W increments, .2W at the most, when vaping under 10W.

Yup. As a Mouth 2 Lunger, that's a deal-breaker for me.

For me it fits perfectly in my hands, maybe I have smaller hands? I may have just gotten used to the button, but maybe I am not to picky about it. How small the devise is, is what drew it to me in the first place. I also totally agree with you on the wattage adjustment, but it really has not been a problem for me. My:2c:

:)

I LOVE the smaller size of the Dani Mini ... the regular Dani Box would not only be larger, but heavier. Think I'll keep getting used to the Mini LOL ... I already have other mods that are the "most comfortable", the lightest and the heaviest. Nothing's perfect I guess. It's a give and take world and I'll take a Dani Mini. :)

On the Dani Mini, I vape at either 7W or 7.5W. Would love to be able to set it to 7.2-7.4W for my approximately 1.8ohm builds.

I'm more of a close is good enough person
Current coil is 1.2 and mod set at 7W

I really want to get the whole set of these, which would mean the red and silver would be next. After that the one I would want to try is the 21700, that is really just slightly larger, and I have never had a devise with that size battery. With the mini I get 2 days per charge, with one of those I bet I would get 3 or 4 days. :|

I find that as the coils get more use, I need to up the wattage incrementally to maintain flavor & nic delivery. I usually add .2W at a time so...

OK, it auto shut off
And I can't click any configuration of buttons to get it back on :(

I think I read somewhere that you can do a factory reset on these,
I don't know how do do it, but it might be something you could try,
just a thought.

I think I read that too. I believe you slam it to the ground and scream like a banshee:)

I posted a couple of pages back how to do that. Disclaimer: I've never actually done it.

(Reset all settings to factory defaults) EXT FUNCTION > MOD MENU > SetDef Init

Just thinking out loud ... wonder if it acts up in the same way without an atomizer attached. I know it should throw an "error code" for no atomizer but will everything else function. On the other hand, what good is that, so nevermind. Like everyone else, just wish I could help. They're sound asleep in England right now and won't be at work for another few hours to answer any emails.

I sent Creme de Vape an email with a link to here and copy/pasted my posts.
They'll get to it tomorrow I am sure.
I included my work email and my Forum email since I can't access the account (house) email from work.
Ah well

Best of the best to you, girl.

We do NOT like seeing YOU unhappy. :(

The good thing is that you happen to be in some of the best hands possible, with CDV. They are nothing short of outstanding, and totally in line with the very best many of us have ever dealt with.

Remaining totally optimistic, and I'm confident it will get resolved. Like everyone else though, we're locked in so please keep us updated.

So I’m reading.. menu is a bit confusing, Classy is having a rare hiccup and everyone else is basically in love except the wattages don’t increase in small enough fractions.

The blue is in my cart but I’m still on pause.
Don't mind me. I'm picky. I vape the Dani Mini at either 7 or 7.5W just fine ... but would like to control it down to perfection. Maybe I'm just used to DNA mods, ProVari and some of the Chinese stuff being able to more closely fine tune. But hey, it does have more precise wattage control than a mech. So there's that I guess.

I think over all, and all things being equal, it vapes smoothest of any mod I have. Not that some of my other mods don't vape smoothly, but I think maybe Dicodes has power delivery figured out better than others. Speaking of power ... and being picky ... wish they offered a menu choice of using voltage or wattage when in power mode. Mostly I vape wattage but will sometimes go to voltage on devices where I can do either or.

EDIT: I realize low power MTL isn't their target audience. As I understand it, they are unmatched in temp control performance. Maybe I'll try that again some day ... maybe not.

I do like the DNA, I used it long long ago when the flask came out. But it was a breeze to use. Is this TC board easy to navigate?

It's different from any menu system I've used before and I'm still getting used to it after a week. It just feels like more of the menu stuff cycles through or out from options that unless you are quite familiar with and used to, you may find the easiest thing to do is just let the dang menu time out and then go back into the menu to try again and change or set something.

Also, sometimes I will inadvertently set something in the menu choices that I would like to undo or maybe didn't even mean to set. I click too soon or not soon enough. Or sometimes I click thinking I will go to the next item on the menu and actually set the current displayed option rather than moving to the next. Guess what I'm trying to say is I button "bang" myself often LOL.

It's like once it cycles past something (which may be deep in the menu), there's no button push to just go back up in the menu hierarchy. Either keep cycling until you maybe come back to it again or let the menu exit and try again from scratch. [EDIT: Just found I CAN go back in the menu hierarchy just by using the (-) button DOH ... still learning LOL]

Bottom line is the menu system is extensive and operates in a manner I'm least familiar with as far as mod menus go. Maybe not a bad thing. Just different.
