I gave in and ordered the silver mini from Squape. I honestly prefer the 21700 feel in the hand but IMHO the mini is the most entertaining way to test how your batteries are holding up. I had a black mini but I gave it away to a worthy person and I missed that aspect.

It was an impulse purchase I could afford but eh, then I had to buy snus and groceries but all will be well I think.

Okay It has been 3 days sense they put it on a plane,
I know planes are not that slow. :?:

KAS

I ordered it on Mar. 20th. And it finally arrived today, 20 days later. My past orders arrived to my door within 5 to 6 days,

Mine showed leaving Langely (?) on Mar. 21st and it didn't arrive in NY until Apr 3rd. I thought maybe they put it on a boat. But it finally showed up in NY. about 90 miles from me. Then it went to Roanoke, about 390 miles from me, then to Harrisburg PA, 90 miles from me, then finally to Philly, 40 miles from me and from there to my local PO, then today 'to me'.

My last order with Creme de Vape came through the door the morning after the day it was dispatched. That had to be some sort of planetary/DHL/van pick up/wormhole/confluence/coincidence, but still, super fast.

Can't be gauranteed, of course, but man it was super fast, faster than Amazon Same Day fast.

It's pricey but you do get what you paid for.

This was during the current pandemic, btw.

I am a firm believer in DHL, and even more so during our present conditions. No argument that it costs more, but I'd offer that it's well worth the increase. Looking at CdV today, Royal Mail shipping is £14.95 ($18.61). DHL is £20.50 ($25.52). In the best of times, RM takes 7-10 days but recently that seems to take much longer with uncertain delivery times. DHL is 2 to 3 days, or as in your case the next day. They do not rely on commercial aircraft (a lot of which has been grounded) as they own their own planes, and as far as I can tell, their own airport(s).

For $7 I'll go with the sure thing.

My only issue with using DHL, (or UPS & Fedex) is their delivery times. They always try to deliver the packages too early, Monday threw Friday I generally do not get home till after 5:00 PM, and miss it, then it is a PIA to get it. If I use USPS I am almost always home when they deliver, and if I do miss it I can pick it up 2 blocks away. :|

I can see where that would be a big problem. I don't even know where the local DHL office is and Fedex is about 40 miles one way. UPS does have a local center 4 or 5 miles away but they are only open to customers a couple of hours each day. Seems like it's 4-5pm which might be useless with a lot of people's work schedule.

I thought I saw somewhere on the DHL site where you could waive signature and just have them leave it. I might be thinking of another shipper, tho.

I really don't like it when they just leave it on my porch, not in the greatest neighborhood, I have been lucky with the few I have had. For a while I was shipping stuff to my employer, and the owner started harassing me about it. I may at some point be able to start doing that again, sense he sold the company, but for now he is still there. :|

Knock on wood for the 30+ years we've lived in this area ... no one has ever had a problem with mail or packages being tampered with. Both my wife and I signed up with USPS for pre-signed package delivery to save Bob, our mailman, the long walk from the street to our front door.

When he showed up at the door to get the package signed for .... I asked doesn't the 'pre-sign' we signed up for cover this package. He said 'duh!' I didn't check that before leaving the truck to get your signature. Yes it would have, thanks for telling me you did that. I'll try to remember to check next time.

He can't drive his vehicle into our driveway because he'd have to back up more than 30 feet to leave. Then an alarm/alert is set on his GPS tracking. Then he gets pinged by his supervisor because they are not allowed to back up more than 30 feet due to some PO regulation the drivers are 'bound' to.

Just like the last time, you bunch are a bad influence. Actually this leads all the way back to the provari days!!! Bought my first after getting the bug from seeing all you folks showing off your stuff, and most recently a Dani mini. Sigh - looks like a 21700 is in my near future.

Okay this is just weird, I posted this on Wednesday 4/8/2020 at 10:00 PM. When I checked tracking this morning, USPS now says it passed threw ISC New York, on Wednesday 4/8/2020 at 6:26 PM The record of it passing threw Chicago is completely gone, I double checked The Royal Mail site and it does still say it was in Chicago. :?:

I have been noticing the USPS site doing that sort of thing for a month or more. Sometimes the timestamp changes (not minutes but hours and hours), sometimes the location changes, and sometimes an entire leg of the trip that once was there goes missing.

Mah mini came and I didn't even open it. Too demoralized it was a rotten day. However, today, however rotten is Friday.

I hate my supervisor my main goal this am is to get her to transfer me to the supervisor I SHOULD have. I am SO DONE with her.

Anna

A bad manager can make your life miserable. Soooo many shouldn’t be. Just cause they are good individual contributors doesn’t mean they will make good managers. Unfortunately that’s how a lot of corporations work.

Hope it works out for you Anna!

I have tons of 18650 mods. Is it worth it to go to 21700? Wouldn’t mind the extra battery life, but I’m a tootle puffer and use temp control and use that at 10w. I don’t mind buying new batteries either.

For those that have the 21700, why did you choose them? Or is that all you have? Also what 21700s do you have? Samsung seems to have some good batts

I like two battery mods (not always) and I tootle. Some of those 21700 mods just feel great in the hand though: the Almighty (asmodus) for one, and well I prefer the feel of the larger Dani 27100 a bit, although the smaller one is cute too.

I don't "need" a lot of my mods but I sure do enjoy them...

I bought a 21700 because Turfy was nagging me to.

The reason he was nagging was because batteries are kind of going that way in future, so it was for my on good.

Then I bought another one that popped up on the classies.

I too found that the 21700 was a little more comfortable in the hand than the Mini.

I use Samsungs mostly
