Welcome Brendalee! Hopefully you can make a Vapemeet in Worcester sometime... great peeps and good times... but if not, glad you are here doing what you can do to become a healthier version of yourself!

Poking my head in! I'm on the North Shore (MA).

This is my 3rd or 4th time on the vape; I had 2 analogs on New Years Day & that was it...until *all but ONE* of my batteries died exactly a month later. Eeek! Well, considering they were all about 2 years old & had a good amount of hardcore vaping on them previously, I don't think that's too bad! I just ordered a 1000mAh ego passthrough starter kit to kick things back off (& also ordered my very favoritest vape, Belgian Breakfast - makes peoples cars smell like maple syrup!). I think it's an ego-c? I don't really care, since most of my parts are pretty dead anyway.

I started with some crappy e-Health e-cig I got at a gas station against my better judgment (seriously, who makes a 'starter kit' for mini-styles with ONE battery?!). I then got:
M401
510
-some 510 passthrus, since I rarely leave the house-
eGo (I think whatever I had would now be considered an A model?)

When I decided I was tired of smoking again, I busted out my 2 eGo batts & accessories, and my 510 passthru. The passthru & 1 batt died within 5 hours of each other. :( The last eGo batt is dying & my attys aren't so great either. BUT...considering these are the atty's I got with the starter kit, I don't think that's too bad! ;)

Sadly, I'm back on the analogs, but I've been pretty good at sticking strictly to half a pack a day (sometimes less!) & trying to vape with my meager supplies in between. Due to income issues, I've *finally* started cycling through ALLLLLL those samples & such that I bought and felt *meh* about! Right now I'm vaping Mrs. T's Honey (sweet), which is okay...but isn't my beloved Belgian Breakfast from w2v! *sniffle*

I had to borrow some money to place my order (serious, SERIOUS income issues right now!), but that was money well-spent. Gosh, I had soooo much $$$ last month not smoking (+ I was just using old supplies!); I am *so* broke this month, even only smoking a pack every 2 days!

I think I'm getting my cousin onto the vape as well; he likes my eGo, likes the way vaping feels & even likes my waffle-flavored syrup! BUT...he wants a black vape with a blue light (*rolls eyes*), and he'd like it more cig-shaped, so I've directed him to the 510. I'm hoping to find a realistic-tasting Red Bull, because I think that will be the final selling point to get him to finally buy it (he lives on the NH border & has cut back on analogs, so it's not costing him very much right now & is wary of dropping some cash on a kit). heh heh - here's hoping!

I've blathered enough (I talk this much - and super-fast, I'm told! in person as well), so I'll end here. :)

~Brendalee (who's no longer Carp's chick anymore since the divorce, but that's okay...)

Rhode Islander here...doesn't seem to be too many of us vaping. Then again, I suppose there aren't too many of us to begin with :) This is my second time "on the Vape" (my new favorite phrase, thx Brendalee :thumb: ) I think the technology is finally mature enough to keep me from getting frustrated and walking away again.

Hi,
I work in Woonsocket and have converted several people to ecigs, some of whom have done the same. The word is spreading nicely in our company, and the area in general. I now know of at least 20 or so vapers from RI. :toast:

Lunenburg, MA here (next to Leominster and Fitchburg).

New vaper, but it got me off analogs after 35+ years. Didn't even have any intention of quitting analogs, just stumbled across it. Willpower not required, virtually painless, simply amazing. I have quit dozens of times before using lots of methods, but never felt confident about it being permanent until now.

Looking forward to meeting some of the locals as time goes on.

It is a long drive for me, but I am now getting tempted to try to make it to the Hartford meet tomorrow. Can anyone give me a rough idea of what to expect if I do (number of people, general way the meets go, etc.)?

after hearing about Rochester meet from Pete Busardo i wondered if there a community closer to me in Mass someplace. I have found Boston Vaping club and saw a suggestion there to join New England Vaping community. Myself i am 10 mins drive from downtown Boston (north shore - Everett/Medford/Malden area). Small intro - I started vaping in December of 2008(after smoking for last 15 or so years) but went back to analogs around September of 2009(mostly due to a frustration of inconsistent hits due to technology(or rather lack thereof) back then). I still have over 20 batteries as well as around 50 atomizers and tons of cartridges from back then since there were no cartomizer/clearomazier/tank/VV or anything like that - you were pretty much limited to rechargeable battery(with/out passthrough - up to 1000mAh), atomizer and cartridge - thats it.

About a month and half ago I decided to give it a try again(healthwise decision) and asked for an advise here on forum (link to that thread). Long story short i am now a proud owner of Provari V2(extended cap of course), a couple of new Ego kits as well as about $gazzilion worth of cartos/clearomizers(stardusts mostly)/batteries/chargers(got Pila IBC for my provari batteries since it came so highly recomended)/tanks(smoktek mostly since they match provari nicely-although for me performance always comes 1st and looks a distant last) and bunch of other(new to me and unavailable back in 08-09) stuff. Happy to say i havent had an analog in about 5 days(thats after doing 2-3 packs daily) and hope to stay that way.

Sorry for a long winded post - and hope i can join your NE group of like-minded people.

Welcome to New England Vapers!! ECF is huge, so I am glad you stumbled on the right spot. We are having a meet today in Seabrook, NH. Our June meet will be our one year anniversary, and will be in Northborough, MA. We also have a pretty active New England Vapers group on Facebook.

Cheers!

Thought I'd pop along and say hello. I live up in Rockport MA but spend a lot of the summer on our boat in S Boston. I've just got into vaping and so far so good. Must give a plug to Eastern Vapor which is a great store in Saugus. Couldn't be more helpful there and have some great juices. I don't think I'd have started vaping without being able to actually go in to a place to see how it all works.
