Good to know dspin, thanks, as my mini should be here any day now.
Gave the Short DID a brushed finish...
Here it is atop a P+ 18350:

Well for those who have issues with shorts on the DID, wrapping the wire. I just spent the last hr with the mini. No way could I do the coil today. Went through five because I get mad and take it all off after a little fiddling. FINALLY all is well. So even those who have had genisis for quite awhile still have issues folks. So all who are new to genisis - keep at it, all will be well.
I mix my own juice and these two taste so darn good
From my experience, the angle cut at the bottom of the tank really only helps to let the bubbles out of a wick with a larger center channel (e.g. 40mm x ~25mm / 3.5mm rolled - thin walled/wide wicks). I starting to mess around with the real "fatty/almost solid" 500 mesh wicks (40mm x 110mm / 3.5mm rolled - someone earlier said they were going for 170mm...) and don't see a need for the angle cut.
I do angle cut the bottom of the big channel wicks, still think the bubbles look like a lava lamp![]()
You're a blast! Any of them that take a Kick will maintain a constant 3.7 for you until the battery needs charging. There are tons of beautiful and beautifully crafted mechanical mods out there. GG, Caravela, Paps, ROLLER, Precise +, Gepetto, Reo, and on and on and on...Hey kabonk, thanks for the reply.
no it doesn't have to be VV as long as i get at least a constant 3.7...
the 10440 looks great, but it has a 12mm diameter whereas the mini is 14mm.
I just saw the Titanide, a stylish french beautiful make. Beleive it or not, the french distributor has banned israel among all countries. Crazy stuff. Anyways, i'm still on the hunt...
Congrats!!! and what a nice write up on it. I can't wait to order one!!![]()
Gemini 108 and all my spare widgets just arrived. Its absolutely beautiful. The inside of slots are polished giving a nice contrast to the outer satin finish.
The wire comes on a tiny spool now instead of cardboard so no more kinks. I've never used the drip tips that come with the DIDs but I put it on and was surprised to see it perfectly sized and shaped to blend into the top caps design. Might have to use it for awhile but I really like my glass tips. (drip tip in pic is not what comes with it)
But the best surprise of all is that the serial number matches my Mini DID. Jim you attention to detail and these extra special touches are amazing. I cant thank you enough. Cant wait for the next device you come out with
I so want to dig in with DIY-ing. I'm still procrastinating. The flavors you listed sound scrumptous!!Sure, I get them from a place called Cupcake World "Intense Flavour Range". They are strong so use with caution.... but very good quality and a good price £2.49 for 28.5mls of concentrate
Website here:- Flavourings : Cupcake World
You can also get them at their ebay shop, and they will combine the postage.
Could someone explain what the top and bottom spacers are used for that are sold on th e vape gr site?

Good luck with your search for the perfect "one".... you'll be back before you know it, because there is no perfect "one", there are only perfect "10"ls of thousands lol. (just ask Rick) And don't forget Jim's new mod!!! I bet his will be a contender!!!
Now as for Jim's mechanical mod...I've gotten a few sneak peaks at what's to come, and I can frankly and honestly say that you might have wasted your time in reading everything in this post up until now considering how great it looks!
!
