It's not completed yet, but here's my first protoype of a pyrex encapsulated coil on a Standard DID (let me know if the link doesn't work): http://s1341.photobucket.com/albums/o750/Cloud_Wizard/Pyrex and Coil/?albumview=slideshow

Anyone know what I can use to sell the ends? I was going to melt in some silver NR wire, but it would take about 10 feet per end (I melted a few inches of 32awg 0.999 pure Silver down it it all but disappeared...)

How about sealing with a silicone boot at the bottom, just pierce the silver wire through. The top may stay open though. Great prototyping the bare battery test looks like a blast. :)

Hi specialists have some problem with my new Temon Set. cleaned everything in a ultrasonic bath
I tried twenty setups ore more with different wicks. The Temon ( Mini DID ) Atomizer produces a lot of clouds on my Provari at 3,2 Volt with 1.1 Ohm.
When I screw it on my Temon Bat it produces less than the half of clouds with an fresh IMR AW 14500.
Why this??????
it tried tests with my multimeter. Under fire with an fresh battery there only come 2,6-2,8 Volt direct on the Atomizer hold it on +and - directly on the Atomizer.
Why this.
IT testet it with a longer center post without the spring .....but it is the same .
I have no idea anymore...but so I have no fun with this Set.

Hope you have an other idea for me

thx

Herby

GOOOOD MOORNIIING!!!!:)

Thank you Miriam!!
Hi Herby I think this is the spring!
Please pull the spring to see if is tight enough in to the positive pole screw.
The last that I would do is to test it without the spring and check the voltage again!
I will be here today Sunday waiting for your reply:confused:

The TITAN TOO?! Oh my.....Damn, this is getting difficult to choose from.
Ain't life grand!! Time for me to have hubby set up an automatic pay account, like you suggested for Tony I think it was. Great idea!

What is the Titan?
It's a size 28mm, which will make our Silver Bullet, LavaTubeV2, etc look hybrid! I love it.

I would love to see a 26650 mechanical mod with a matching atomizer tank bell curved to a Temon top. That would be awesome.
Yes vote from me too! My Bam could use a fitted atty. I don't know if I'd be able to pick it up without renting a forklift, but it sure would look nice and last a whole 2-4 days to boot! Shoot, in time I'd even get the mod too, if Jim makes one. Great idea!

Thanks Uma. Any thoughts on your Roller? Mine is en route. Can't wait!
Congrats! It's a lovely mod, I love mine a lot. It's comfortable in hand, and can be adjusted to any size ... the button is fabulous, like pushing a flat keyboard key only better, it's shiney but doesn't fingerprint up gawd awful like most shineys do, and they update/upgrade any and all important functional parts for free. My updates are in the mail, probably in customs, and when they get here, my DID's will sit flush and pretty, and the new silver plated button connection will fire like mad each and every time. It's truely a pleasure to change the batteries out, with the battery cap on the end. Most telescopic mods make us twist for forever the tubes, for battery changes. Not the Roller! It's a real treat to use. Plus, the short stop fuse works in every battery size too, because of the battery cap spring. :) As you can see, it has a lot of pluses going for it.

WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA NELLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

O M G!!! Just wrapped a new coil on my Standard DID and when I went to put the wick back into the coil after testing the ohms I accidentally ripped the outer layer about midway down the wick so it would not go back in. So I grabbed my back up wick for it,(Yes I am always prepared for such problems :D), and it was a hair thinner than the other one. So I just reverse rolled it to loosen it up a hair so it would fit nice and snug into the coil. IT HITS AMAZING!!!! Wicks Perfectly!!!! Loose Wicks ROCK!!!!! Way better than my tightly rolled one!!!

Just thought I would share :D
Hope everyone is having a great day :D
