Glad you posted this. Thought I was only one that had that problem so now other people will know if it happens if they dont have extra parts. Thats why I always buy extra parts - for just in case

Very tiny washers can be found at hardware stores for sure - that way you can by them by the piece
All your brass contacts including the long center pin should be shiny brass when done. Any black at all will effect performance. If your cape cod is not doing it - get some autosol paste - that has grit in it and will clean them well. Just make sure to to wash then in Dawn dish detergent and scrub off all remaining polish w/toothbrush from threads and crevices where any might be - mainly the center pole and nuts.
Yep I found the Mother-lode of little bits and spares at Ace Hardware up the road from the house for emergency situations when I do not have a spare O ring, washer or screw or nut

I have a few questions before I get one of these please , I've seen Pyrex glass tanks for the short DID , are there any for the normal big DID ?
is the coil chamber small compared to a cobra or AC9 or other RBA's ? would you say the TH is hot and spicy or cool and airy ?
Should I get the 1.2mm top cap ? thanks

as stated above ^^^^^ yes on Pyrex for Standard & Shortie DIDs, Poly clear tanks available for all except Gemini & Temon.
The wick hole on a Std/Shortie is 3.5mm and the Mini/Gemini is 2.8mm (not sure about the Temon but would guess same as Mini). If you're not sure about the air hole size, I'd get the smaller one and then drill it out if you want a more airy draw. Temp and TH seem to be (IMHO) more a product of how you wick/coil. I like big puffy clouds of warm moist vapor (not hot) which is easily done with a "fat" wick with center channel and a med/low ohm coil (~1.2 to ~1.4 ohm). I also like a bigger air hole, so drill all mine out to 1/16th in (~1.6mm).

Funny. Just wishful thinking on my part. Looks like I just going to get a photo of it for Xmas.
but it will be worth the wait. I got the roller email saying they were available But I'm holding off. If the poldiac is as well built as the did. It can keep up with my dropping. plus I asked Jim to make it. I'm loyal to my word. My wick is nice and black again. Been running a 1/2. Quick hot vape.

And by the way uma. I'm using your trick. I leave a pig tail. So I can unwind wipe off the wire and recoil on the fly. Great tip.
