Hmm, I've tried this method but not been very successful. Pls, either post the simple set of steps or a link to the method you're using? I'd like to get it to work at least once so I can compare to my normal setup (maybe without blowing up my tank this time )

I posted the directions. Man this hits hard. I have my DID and Gemini setup using these wicks. It takes about a half a tank or so to get going good though. No lighter needed or juice burn required. I think the oxidizing takes away from the wicking the 500 mesh can do. Try it and I believe you will agree.

Thanks for everything all, I got a call late this morning and was offered the job, will be starting in mid-march and am very excited. Tony, I have always been a republican, although I have been pretty unhappy with both sides lately.
