Hello everyone. Been lurking for awhile but decided to come out and say Hi! I have been vaping for about 2 months now. Still smoking regular cigarettes but have cut down from at least 30 a day to 6. The reason I started the e cig is because I was diagnosed with moderate to severe COPD. I am not quite 40 yet so that was a serious wake up call for me. I am doing much better now. And my doctor actually supports me using the e cig.
Any suggestions on giving up the remaining real cigs that I still smoke would be appreciated.

Susan

I started out with the ego t but I wasn't getting enough flavor from that so I am using the clearomizers with the ego batteries now. Good combo for me. I am using 36mg juice. Today I should be receiving the Vortex from got vapes which I am excited to give a try! I was smoking around 30 cigarettes a day and I have been smoking for 26 years. Just having a hard time giving up the morning cig, after eating cig, and before bed cig!!

It may be the juice you are using....I have heard(but not tried) that Purecig from Freedomsmokeusa.com has helped a lot of members get over that hump....check them out....

Welcome to ECF Forums. It is nice to meet you. Seems you have a handle on your equipment and you are using a high nicotine strength.

Have you considered mixing up your routine a little? By that I mean, do things differently. Instead of grabbing a cup of coffee and a cigarette in the morning, try eating an apple or orange (they take a little time to eat) then go brush your teeth.

Instead of smoking a cig before you go to bed, grab your pv with a slightly lower nic level and DIFFERENT juice in it. If you vape tobacco, try something different.

When you want to smoke after you eat, try taking a short walk instead of lighting up a cig. Take your pv with you on your short walk and see if that helps satisfy you and distract you from the cig.

In my opinion, the eGo T- does provide less flavor. You might try dripping for a maximum flavor from your juices.

Hope these suggestions help a little. Once again, ~~ Welcome ~~

I know the feeling. I was one leg in and one leg out in the beginning as well..

For me, I just sought the flavor I really liked and enjoyed it in the morning while thinking, "I am still "smoking" and really digging/enjoying this while I am NOT hurting myself or my lungs."

I know this might not concretely help but it worked for me.

I am not a menthol smoker but back then, the one that helped me was vapor4life.com's Wow Cowboy Menthol eliquid at 18mg I think. I enjoyed that one a lot (not too sweet and the menthol gave me the sensation all the way in to my throat and chest sometimes) and has let go of real cigs ever since (about 5 months now...)
