My hair grew back when I switch to a PV.

The water in my house is also softer now, and my birds learned to talk Italian! All because of my PV.

My car also starting getting 150 MPG since I switched to a PV.

Yours too! (My hair became model 'luxurious' - granted it was on my legs but, I haven't taken the paper bag off my head. I think it's a must do.)

I've also noticed recalled Toyotas that weren't turned in are stopping for it, it's doing the housework, walks the dog and is also starting to learn to make breakfast and lunch for every child in the neighborhood!

...for some reason, it's sticking the letters "T-H-E C-L-E-A-V-E-R-S" on mailboxes everywhere and every guy is changing their name to Wally and Beaver and saying "please" and "thank-you" within 50 ft. of it!

It's beyond my wildest dreams what this thing can do!!!!!

Does anyone know what happened at last week's Albany County Health Committee meeting?

Seems like lots of folks whipped themselves up into a frenzy when they found about the proposal in Albany County, but it appears that nobody is monitoring the legislation.

There is nothing on the website (I check it regularly). When last I talked to the Chair of the Albany County Legislature, who is the one who confirmed for me that the public hearing was not going to be held on the 27th as was originally believed, he assured me that if a public hearing was scheduled, it would appear on the website, as prior public notice of such a hearing is required.

I'm not sure what else we can do Bill, other than perhaps calling one of the Health Committee members, or its Chair, to ask what happened at their meeting on the 28th.

CASAA does not yet have any regional reps from Georgia, so this is an open letter to any and all Georgia vapers.

Healthy Savannah has convinced the City of Savannah to try to pass a new smoking ban ordinance that includes e-cigs within the ban. Here is the proposed ordinance:
http://www.savannahga.gov/cityweb/S...57bf/$FILE/DRAFT Smoke Free Policy July 9.pdf

According to this news article, they also intend to try to get this passed as a Chatham County-wide measure. See:

"Healthy Savannah does plan to introduce a similar ordinance for all of Chatham County" For and against, public speaks out on smoking | savannahnow.com

Unfortunately, we did not find out about this until the first two public hearings on the City of Savannah only ordinance were already held.

However, there is a third public hearing on the Savannah ordinance sceduled for August 12, according to this news report:
Third hearing on Smoke-Free Savannah ordinance set - WTOC, Savannah, Georgia, news, weather and sports |

CASAA is planning to send a letter and packet of information to the Savannah Mayor and City Council members, similar to what we did for Albany County in NY and other locales. But the most critical need is for people on the ground there in Georgia, and ideally right in Savannah of course, to not only attend the public hearing, but also to contact people by phone, request meetings, bring them information such as the AAPHP position paper and other writings and studies from experts, and bring them e-cigs to demonstrate what they are and how they work, etc, etc.

It might be a good idea to contact Healthy Savannah directly as well.

So I'm hopeful that Georgia members of ECF will talk among themselves and consider taking on this battle, not only for any actual Savannah or Chatham County residents among you, but also for vapers everywhere in the US; with each success in any given locality, the antis gain momentum and possibly an easier win in the next locality they move on to.

I'm researching something, (happy to share it by PM) but, I need help from anyone who has a full list of chemical names of 4000 (+(?)) toxins in an analog.

I found a website that MIGHT explain why we're getting hassled but ONLY if the chemical names match.

And as someone here posted a while back, it would, in fact, ALLEGEDLY place the ALLEGED 'blame' squarely on ALLEGED uninformed/uneducated (about quitting analogs) md's and/or md's ALLELEGEDLY 'restricted' to NOT fully treat people trying to quit - for now that is merely a hunch, unless things mysteriously are pulled from the internet that have no BASIC connection to analogs.

I've noticed these lists of chemicals vanishing over the past few months. If anyone has an official copy, please let me know.

TIA

Ironically, the first place that I came across that claims to have a complete list is the Web Site operated by Mr. Anti-E-Cigarette himself. He has other names, many of them unsuitable for the ears of children. I will not advertise his name or the name of his organization here.

This information, now being disclosed for the first time, could help persuade smokers to quit. It can also serve as a wakeup call to nonsmokers that breathing drifting tobacco smoke can hurt them.

So, please learn all about this list of chemicals which has been revealed. Show the list to both smokers and nonsmokers.

Now available, in an easily downloadable form, is the complete list, provided as a public service by REDACTED (XXX).
Please note, however, that this information is available only to member-supporters of REDACTED (XXX). To find out how you can become a member of XXX on line, and to obtain access to this and other valuable information for members as well as several special gifts, please click here....

Can anyone please explain to me how you can claim to be offering information as a public service, but require people to pay for it (via membership dues)?

Not about to increase the wealth of the man who is doing his best to kill me and all other e-cig users, I kept looking and found an EPA report from 1992. Tables 3-1 and 3-2 are apparently the source for several lists of "toxic chemicals" found on various web sites. You can download a copy of the document

http://oaspub.epa.gov/eims/eimscomm.getfile?p_download_id=36793

I was unable to find any list of 4,000 chemicals. My guess would be that this was someone's estimate of the total number of chemicals that might be generated by burning tobacco and it has been repeated until it became "truth."

There is a list of about 599 chemicals that the U.S. government has approved as additives.

One significant issue is that while all these chemical compounds have been approved as additives to food, they were not tested by burning. Burning changes the properties of chemicals.
List of additives in cigarettes - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

NOTE: There seems to be some confusion out in the Web regarding toxic / carcinogenic substances. For example, I saw "honey" on a list of "toxins added to cigarettes." Any substance could be toxic in large enough quantities, I suppose, but I have yet to ever hear of someone dying from honey poisoning.
