no I got it through Buckys discount vapes ..We actually received them within 2 WEEKS of the order being placed. It was the first pre-order I participated in and I was soo impressed how Bucky posts daily updates on the status of the pre's he has going on as well as actively posting in all the other topics..
The only thing I see non Bucky's is the MVP2 at $69.99...no sign of the VTR.

Video on the VTR: How To Use The Innokin iTaste VTR - YouTube

Tip: mute the sound. There's no talking, just a really annoying soundtrack.

I was watching for the release of the VTR, deciding whether or not I had any interest. Watching this video though, and realizing that it's actually larger than my dual 18650 EPM mod, makes me realize I can stop watching. I had been expecting something closer to a Billet Box (size) than that monstrous 134.

Not interested.

For me, the size is not an issue. While it is larger than something such as the MVP, it is shorter since whatever you have attached to it is not sticking out much (provided, of course, that it fits into the support ring).

I'm still interested in getting one, but given the delay I probably will pass on a pre-order and wait until they are more readily available and (ideally) have been reviewed by someone like pbusaro. I saw his review of the new MVP and I hope that the fire button on the VTR is not as firm as that. If it is, that will probably be a deal-breaker for me.

Dplongo, I agree, way too big for my taste, no pun intended...lol. going to look into other options.... maybe the mvp 2 will be it or I look into getting a dna20d box...

Hey Pat! It's nice to see you. It's been QUITE awhile...

The Billet is a nice size (don't have one),.and I like the Hana size too (do have). It's just about a pack of cigs. Unless you can get lucky with one of Mamu's marvelous mods. In which case, GET IT. She put 4 Stealthys up this morning, but I expect they lasted as long as a burp.

As I mentioned before, the measurements are:

MVP (W,H,D): 41 - 107 - 22 mm
VTR (W,H,G): 54 - 106 - 22 mm

So same height and depth and slightly wider than the MVP. For comparison, the REO Grand is:

REO (W,H,D): 43 - 95 - 23 mm

So I decided to photoshop them together based on the above proportions.

To me, the funny thing is, I don't like the size of the MVP. It's to small for a center button. It would be easier for me to hold if it was wider. I like that the VTR is wider and the firing button is on the side of the unit. For the record though, I do have larger than normal hands.
You know what they say about guys with big hands???

They wear big gloves!

The thing with the design of the VTR is I can see someone making a sleeve tube, perhaps a double walled insulated sandwich one that a bottom feeder bottle would fit into and run a atomizer on top. Would be a very adaptable machine then. (Want to bet that is already in the works and will be offered at a later date?)

Not sure if you are being sarcastic. In case you're not, such a thing exists and I quoted it above (the REO):
22407d1289085020-reo-grand-first-24-hr-review-mxbnw-more-reo-stuff-003.jpg

Do not mean to be sarcastic at all. What you are showing is exactly what I am talking about. Now picture the bottle inside a removable tube that would replace the tank. Screw a atomizer on top and there ya go. The VTR could then be configured just about every way there is.

Something like this? (It's been around awhile)

Surge Tank (Aluminum) - Surge Tank - Accessories

I personally think that the VTR is close to perfect for a box mod. It accommodates the very popular tanks (iClear/Protank/etc.) on the side of a removable battery instead of adding to the length of tube mods. In many ways, this is similar to the REO, just tank-based. Also, it is aesthetically quite pleasing judging from the pics and videos (except for the stupid branding text). My other suggestion would be to have the LCD panel flush with the housing rather than slightly protruding as it appears in the pics

I also think that this design could be further reduced in size for the 18650 version (reduced height and width seem possible) and a companion 14500 version could easily follow (maybe using mini tanks).

Yeah, been a while for sure. Been super busy with quitting my job and starting up a company:)

Was contemplating making my own dna20, but it's that time thing that's getting in the way...lol...

The Hana is freakin nice, not sure if I'm ready to drop $350 into it though...

I'll have to continue to think about this...
