I guess that knocks the mesh wick speculation on the head

The original i30 performs really well, so while a mesh option would be nice, the cleaner look of the wicks being tucked away in the carto is a nice feature. Hopefully having the wicks inside the casing doesn't effect the wicking. I like clear tank tubes so the look is good for me.

Looks like maybe the pre orders will ship by end of month but the shops won't be stocking until next month.

Yeah, I'm not knocking it - the iClear product line has been great so far and a compact wick (possibly BCC) form is more than welcome.

would be nice though to see a mesh packing like with the vapage and 357's but all the way up. That will probably the next incarnation-who knows?

I just corresponded directly with innokin and they told me the vtr will not be available until mid October. Bummer if that's the case. I asked them "is it for sale now?". They replied "no, mid October!"

I read somewhere that they had some issue with the vtr that they were resolving. Maybe that's why they are delaying it.

Fairy Gift has the VTR in stock and is the first vendor to have the VTR. They are in China (I think) but are a reputable vendor. The first 50 orders will be shipped via DHL which takes 3 days worldwide. They have sold 34 so far. If you want one before they reach 50, you'd better hurry!

Fairy Gift is tempting, but I think I'm going to wait until a US vendor has them. I always seem to have the worst luck when it comes to getting overseas shipments in a timely fashion.

On a semi-related note to the VTR, I got the leather case in today from Vapor Beast. Quite nice! The build quality is decent. You won't confuse it with leather goods from Coach, but it's nice, and the stitching is well done. The snaps appear sturdy. There's an elastic loop on the inside that holds an 18650 battery securely.

I won't be using it as a belt holder, but rather as a way to keep a device, small juice bottle and an extra battery organized in my bag while out and about. A Reo fits in it just fine, and it can be pressed into service to hold a tube mod as well.

Nice! I ordered one too, I opted for DHL though and my total came to $122 I believe with the discount code. I didn't know at the time that the first 50 orders were going to be sent out DHL anyways. oh well, I can't wait to get it!!!
