It was not automated so they may not be sending to everyone. I had sent sales an email after I ordered on another issue and they replied to that string so it may have been sent just to me. I ordered on 8/31.

EDIT: I meant they may not be sending the EMAIL to everyone. I don't think I'm getting special treatment on getting the device ;)

You're right, I got in touch and got this in response:

Hi Barry,
Have already shipped out via DHL. Will give you tracking number tomorrow :)
We usually don't update the website, but will send out tracking number via email.

I am anxiously awaiting 1st impressions and reviews about this

Me, too. I keep checking Youtube . .

I have to say .. in the "How To" video that is on Youtube, the VTR looks HUGE. I hope that guy just has small hands or something . . but it does not look "front pocket-able" ....something I was definitely hoping it would be.

Did anyone ever figure out if you can use devices that don't fit in the cage/skeleton? The how to video didn't show that - but I guess I thought there was some adaptor or adjustment that could allow you to fit devices on top of the VTR.

It ships with a cylindrical adapter that screws into the 510 fitting and puts a connector flush with the top of the unit. Anything that is on the connector will sit above the top of the mod. I'm hoping that the Protanks and Davides will fit with no adapter, as they are the same diameter as an iClear 30.

Seems that the internal diameter is 19mm (iClear 30), 44mm height below drip tip (idem), 510 (non ego) base connector.
The adapter offers an ego threading on top of the device, more or less like on the MVP for whatever ato/tank needing an ego threading and/or a bigger diameter.

I'm hoping for the same...if it won't fit a protank, I'll have to pass on it.

you mean that (the second one mostly) ?

I couldn't find dimensions for the Surge Tank. However, I have some Auroras and I'm not at all optimistic that they will be short enough to fit. :( It would be great to see a bottom feeder adapter made specifically for the VTR's cubby.
