ordered and coming soon

Chris, are you going for that Paul Shaffer look with your avatar photo? or is it just a coincidence? I noticed Daniel has a lot of DeNiro going on. Great stuff guys.

BTW Pricing: (from joyetech) for the base kit: 3v-5v:

$139.00 USD
€ 120.70 EUR
£98.08 GBP
4448.00руб RUB
PLN 529.31 PLN

Base kit includes:
1x eVic Control Head
1x eVic Battery Tube
1x eVic Rechargeable 2600mAh Battery
1x USB Cable
1x Wall Adapter
1x eVic Manual
1x MVR Manual

http://www.joyetech.com/product/

I don't mind the hefty price, but it has to perform. It stopping at 5v is not a good start! Come on Joye 5v? really?

I applaud Joye for making this product, but I have doubts on the build quality, we shall see and I hope I'm wrong. No Doubt a huge leap for a Chinese Manufacturer. If anyone can pull it off, Joye can, though.

6:19 in the video..theres a set output power option on that screen...not absolutely certain but I took that to be the VW setting since he has it set to 8 and theres some info about recommended power on the right saying 5.2w min 2w max 15w

I'll watch it again........hoping this is set to RMS. Do we even know yet if it's PWM? Maybe I'm missing something here...........

I believe that is just a calculated value that is shown on the PC software only... not on the device itself, at least they don't show a device screen shot showing wattage

The eVic is not variable wattage. I for one and hoping for a flat accurate voltage output, no RMS or AVG needed. For $140, I want nothing less.

Vrms or Vavg is how you describe how the voltage is measured... it isn't a type of voltage output, it is how that output is measured. Vrms is the standard.

You are wrong! AVG and RMS is the the way the device uses PWM to calculate the displayed voltage, if there is no PWM and thus flat voltage, there is way or need of averaging. If you use a real voltage meter that calculates AVG and RMS etc, those calculations are non existent when the signal is flat. This what I am referring to. A flat signal means there is no need to average, the voltage is the voltage displayed. there can be a huge difference in the vape, especially when AVG is being used by a device and thus why some people hate PWM. I'm not going to debate this, there is no debate.
