Damn the sweet irony....[UFINALLY[/U] got around to ordering the p18 just last week and today the new ones come out with a new finish and new material for the contacts....
If I'd have known I'd have asked if I could add those on while the p18 is still with you....lol.... on top of a slant cap and the old style vent holes...
At least maybe I'll see the p18 quicker now though (I can hope)

Yours will have the new finish, deeper well, rodium etc anyway, everything but the locking button, which you can add later when i get more of them done.
Been crazy busy, busting my rear to get just about every welding certification I can get to help with the real job...
And driving myself crazy busting out product for my side job.....
But good none the less..
Sweet...that's good news....though hopefully the vent's are the old style versus the new....please?!?
As for the locking button....meh.....like I put the darn things down long enough to need to lock it (tough I will probably want it later anyhow)
Oh thank god, I am ready to send mine back as soon as possible, I want to love it but I get tired of the constant brass cleaning to get a consistent hit, its still fricken beautiful though.

That is the exact thought that I had, I have never done a video though and I was always the child that didnt freak out at christmas, more happy on the inside, so that might be kind of a disappointing video but might do it anyways.

I am really looking forward to getting mine! When I read the specs I was drooling at the conductivity implications! I think that these new puppy's are gonna hit like freight trains!
i'm sure looking forward to getting my new little Plus 18350! I got the slanted cap for style but want to get the flat cap as soon as they're in stock to use with a tank. David, because your little atty tank is not yet up for purchase, I'm being forced to buy a lesser model tank. Shame on you! There's only one way to redeem yourself. Just make that little tank quick!

I remember David saying, to refinish the Older Style Precise models, using a 400 Grit sandpaper to touch up any scratches.....Does that method still apply to the P+ models? I actually have some Stainless Steel Tanks that I'd like to match the finish on the P+.

I would say no, since I assume that if it has a different finish that you would not use the same grit but I am curious to answer as well, but from the description of the finishing process it sounds like it might be a lot tougher to match the final finish because of all the processes that it goes through. On the other hand, it also sounds like the P+ is gonna be a lot more durable in that regard.
Anyone get a shipping notice yet??? I think I was the second person to order but no notice yet. Hopefully they shipped out and the notice will come this evening.
