Nice shots everyone, they make the rest of us even more desirous of our new babies. I can hardly wait to receive that shipping notice. Just what was I thinking I came here to the ECF before checking my email BRB. Daglynabbit! Nothing but fluff, no shipping notice for little needy ole me. It's a spare. It goes under the sliding locking part of the button. I'm curious to know what the H.D. stands for though..?
Can't believe I missed the release of these mods, I have been checking the site every two-three days waiting to place an order for a P16 for at least a month. Happily I was still able to get a Plus 35 even this late, having owned a P18 for almost a year I know how beautifully made Davids mods are.
Wait a tick, I can get the p18650 and just swap out the bottom to get the p+ switch? If so I'm gonna order one now. The new p+ line has got me contemplating on selling both of my ssggts's.

I'm planning on sending my P18 in to David for the new finish and new upgraded ends once I receive my P+.... But its good to know that we can interchange the ends with the new line. That's the nice thing about the SuperT stuff, you don't have to buy 15 of them to get the best features.
That P+35 (?) in the middle looks awesome with the P18 caps on it!

H.D. (heavy duty) spring detent is for the locking mechanism. It is over twice the spring rate of the stock one that comes pre-installed. The spring detent keeps the locking mechanism locked in the on or off position. For most, the stock preinstalled will be more then adequate, so i don't recommend rushing to change it out. Get used to using the preinstalled one first before making any changes.
To replace, remove the sliding locking mechanism by sliding it past the detents and all the way out. Do not worry, a spring and ball will not come flying out when you remove it, it is a self contained ball and spring. Replace with the H.D. detent and reinstall the slide. Note: The H.D. detent makes the locking mechanism harder to lock and unlock, some may find it too stiff for their liking and will want to stick with the OEM detent. The H.D. does break in a bit and get easier with use.
