So after a day of using the P+, I feel I need to revise my comments from earlier. Especially due to the grin on my face each time I lock the switch.

The burnt taste was sort of a combo of better power delivery and the CE2 wicking issues (that should have been my first diagnosis). I decided to head out with a 2.5ohm CE2 tank and just get time with the P+, learn how she wants to be vaped. Sure enough, we're getting along great now. :D

I do think I'm going to try a Heavy Spring on my next batt order. But I am still interested in trying a longer post... I'm thinking no more than 1-2mm max. Maybe the 18500 batts are the trick too...

I hope my posts aren't coming off as negative or disrespectful, not my intent what so ever. I could not be happier with my P+18500 and a P+18350 has already been in and out of my cart since I got home. The initial break-in/learning experience is what I find fun with getting a new mod/device/toy; learning, tuning and finding the sweet spot. Just something that carries over from my time the PC Overclocking world I guess (Nah, I was a tinkerer long before that).

If you run the P18500 battery, you can adjust the throw even shorter with it as you only start out with one washer since it's a longer battery:)

When I placed my order for my PrecisePlus 18650, I was asked what type battery I was planning to use. ie:AW P 18650 protected, IMR 18650 un-protected, or LiFePO4 pair. Can anyone enlighten me why this was asked? Is a different spring or something being installed depending on how I answered? If so, I would have liked the option of selecting IMR 18500 with Kick. If you don't already know what that means, you will soon.

Its just for my initial set up of the unit, so when you get your unit you can just drop the battery in and vape. Extra orings and washers are included to set it up to run a variety of batteries.

I have a quick question to the Precise experts. What's the best atomizer you suggest using when vaping at 6v or 6.4v? My priorities are flavor before vapor. Thanks.

I prefer the Bulli A-2 rebuildable atty at 6V on the P18 followed by the Triple Coil Carto. Looking forward to trying a 2.5 DC atty when they come out. The DC 1.5 atty at 6V is a little harsh and not the best of flavor, I have to use that one at 3.7V

k3vin, what advantage do you find in using an HH357? Especially if you've also used the 306 LR?

I've managed to get my hands on that 18350 that I stupidly let elude me. What a cute little thing! Cute until it jumps on you, roars and chomps your face off (I mean that in a good way).

This one has a slant top. Now that I can compare slat vs flat I can say they both look great, but in the end my preference will still be flat. I just like the abruptness of it - nothing to do with whatever atty or tank you'd put on it. In fact, I can't even fathom putting a tank on one of these since they're such perfect dripping machines.

With the impending delivery of the 18650 I'm expecting triplets. I'm reminded of atavanhalen's quip about being "fortunate" to have an ailment which limited the choice of hobbies. I'm in a similar situation though the ailment is not mine but my son's. I spend pretty much every minute when I'm not working taking care of him, no trucks or boats or even fishing poles for me. Underwear is optional. So fortunately I can choose to spend my discretionary dollars on these life-saving works of art.

It is like night and day, although it has the 306 internals, there is no burning,TONS of vapor and MANY HITS between dripping..It is just a whole nother beast...And it vapes like one too..The draw is tighter, but not overwhelming..ANd it does not leak unless i Put in like 6+ DROPS..

When this atty gets broke in"WATCH OUT" it will vape your face off... :)
