So after a day of using the P+, I feel I need to revise my comments from earlier. Especially due to the grin on my face each time I lock the switch.
The burnt taste was sort of a combo of better power delivery and the CE2 wicking issues (that should have been my first diagnosis). I decided to head out with a 2.5ohm CE2 tank and just get time with the P+, learn how she wants to be vaped. Sure enough, we're getting along great now.
I do think I'm going to try a Heavy Spring on my next batt order. But I am still interested in trying a longer post... I'm thinking no more than 1-2mm max. Maybe the 18500 batts are the trick too...
I hope my posts aren't coming off as negative or disrespectful, not my intent what so ever. I could not be happier with my P+18500 and a P+18350 has already been in and out of my cart since I got home. The initial break-in/learning experience is what I find fun with getting a new mod/device/toy; learning, tuning and finding the sweet spot. Just something that carries over from my time the PC Overclocking world I guess (Nah, I was a tinkerer long before that).
If you run the P18500 battery, you can adjust the throw even shorter with it as you only start out with one washer since it's a longer battery
