Just thought I would post a quick comparison of voltage under load between the two 18350 devices I have on hand. Used the same freshly charged AW IMR 18350 battery and the same 3.3 ohm carto. The GG stealth registered 4.2 volts without a load and 3.8 volts under load. The P+35 registered 4.2 volts without a load and 4.0 volts under load. I'll compare again when I've run the charge down some but initial impression is that the new plated contacts really do make a measurable differance.

The Mercury looks like it's made for the Precise+, the colors blend so well with the finish. I hope Jon keeps it the line up for next sale but he said he's getting all new colors. I know you will enjoy it!

Thanks so much for the compliment, i also think it matches perfectly... :)

Thank you David! Another awesome mod! Thankfully, I didn't have to wait until Tuesday next week! My Precise+ 350 came today, it's everything all mods should be and more. Another home run!

Shhhh...Shockwave? I couldn't resist David!

Yeah! You got it Grammie, no more stalking the mailbox. Glad you like it, with all the mods you have owned your opinion really matters.

Shouldn't the 500 have a little more powerful hit?

Not really, just longer run time...
No Atty is going to come close to the 5.6A that the 18350 IMR is capable of putting out... the 18500 is just capable of like 8.8A...
But realistically in a purely mechanical non vv 3.7V mod the highest Amperage you're going to draw is just under 2.5A ( with a 1.5 ohm Atty)

That's why IMR was really the turning point for 14500 or 16340 size devices...the ICR versions couldn't cover that kind of amp draw (or really for a 3 ohm Atty for that matter)

I haven't used the IMR batteries yet, just the AW protected 14500s. IDK, seems like I go through one of those in a few hours. But between the two models it's a trade off between battery life and smaller size. Since it's a bottom button I went with the 350 since I thought it would be easier for me to pinky the button.

Depending onwhich Atty you use on that 14500 the IMR make all the difference in the world
The protected AW can push 1.5A
The IMR 4.5A..
A standard joye 510 Atty needs 1.68A... or it doesn't hit as hard as it could and overstresses the batteryleading to shorter run time...

So even though the IMR in that size has a lower may it hits true...and since it does appears to last just as long

Oh man! I gotta get out more! The PrecisePlus has everything that ever concerned me addressed! I definitely see a P-Plus 18500 in my near future! Great stuff David!
Hey Major, you will not be disappointed, it hits more consistently than any mechanical mod I have tried, no more trying to polish that contact that is down in the connector, its always clean, if it has juice on it just wipe it off with a clothe and your good. It truly is maintenance free, I think you will really appreciate a PP. Let us what what you think once you get it.
