Thats really weird because for some reason, the only way I can get it to slide out is when the contact post is removed. For the life of me I can not get it to go out like you are talking about. I do have the heavy spring in though.Thanks for the info - I inspected it more closely and snugged up the screw you mentioned. I checked the underside of the Locking pieced and see that all detents are identical (3 of them). This means that if you can slide it past one detent that you can slide it past all of them. That is exactly what I did the first time I tried it.
It isn't a problem since I now know a simple push of the thumb locks it. I am practicing spinning it (to align the lock with the openings) with my thumb while pressing against it so that it will lock when it is aligned. It allows me to continue to do whatever I am doing without having to visually insure that it is aligned for locking.
If I had one thing that I would add to a wish list it would be to create a groove on the side of the button that would prevent it from rotating. This would eliminate the need for aligning it before locking it.
I tried the heavy spring for the locking button but I found it's a bit too much for me. I really like the regular spring. The button doesn't look/unlock too easily, it does take a decent push but it doesn't put up a fight either. I can slide out the locking part of the button without having to unscrew anything. I think it's just perfect the way it is.

I hear ya. I've grown so accustomed to the heightened senses that come with over anxious wait periods that I now have to constantly have something on order that will drive me nuts until I order something else.

Sounds like adrenaline, at first you hate it, eventually you've just got to have it.. I'm waiting for a GG part to arrive ATM and I get that adrenaline shot everytime I hear the postman rattling the letterbox, mostly followed by disappointment but inevitably, eventually a buzz.
We didn't just ditch smoking, we invented a new addiction with vaping. Nicotine combined with must have shiny stuff and cool gadgetry, it's impossible to get 'clean', we're royally screwed..

Lisa's first batch will only be of slant caps. I believe she'll have P+ 18350's, P+ 18500's and the yet to be released P+ 18650's.

Forgive my ignorance, but who is Lisa? I assume a Super T supplier? I am patiently waiting to order a P plus 18650with slant caps.... Quickest way to do this is to continue checking the main Super T site every hour or so, right? Yes, sadly that is what I'm doing like many of you... Thanks!
