No worries, you wouldn't of, but over time you could. Even non abrasive metal polishes can take a toll over time. Shining your ring up is different in that you probably want to get years of micro abrasions and sratches off, on your switch, it doesn't need to be comestically shinny, it won't help in any way. Just a soft cotton cloth is all that is necessary. If it were to say, be dropped in some mud or get some grease/grime on it, you could wash it off with some dish soap, but thats all that will ever be necessary for care.

i knew you couldnt stay away Pete. I got the PP18550. I am loving it. for now i just cant go for the 18650. I am trying real hard not to but it keeps calling me. so far im ok but dont know how long i can not get one. I mean this 18500 with the HH357 is the best ever so why bother.

Yea, I'm anxiously waiting to be able to purchase an extra top cap. I have a couple of rebuildable atties coming soon and my P+ will look so much better with a slanted cap rather than with the flat cap I currently have. Looking forward to the announcement...

All I have to say is that I felt the same way when I got the 18500, within days started feeling the itch for the 18350, and the very day I couldn't stand it anymore and went to order they went out of stock. I couldn't let that happen with the 18650.

It's hard to find information on everything here, so maybe a dumb question: is the precise plus 10440 a thing? Or is it just a precise 10440 with the improved rhodium contacts that exists right now? Would it even be considered a difference at this point? Im honestly confused, but the 10440 is the kind of form factor I've been dying for, even if I have to carry around 3 spare batteries in my pocket.
