Love the rdta squonk action!

Never understood squonkable RDTAs, both my Pindad and Medusa Reborn are squonkable. If you squonk the tank on the Pindad, the bottle sucks half of the juice back out again due to low hole placement. At least the Medusa's squonk pin comes out on top of the deck so you are only saturating coils and not trying to fill a 3.5ml reservoir.

You can fill the tank all the way as the squonk hole is at the top. I really dig it and am really satisfied with the vape I get from it.

On an RTDA - - I like the Vapefly Galaxy but just bought it on a whim, perhaps after a bit of Kentucky's finest. When I got it, I wondered why I just didn't use a regulated with a Kayfun. Once i got the hang of the wicking, I changed my mind. The Galaxy will leave about half of the tank full when the bottle is released, about one milliliter. For me, it helps avoid dry hits when heavily concentrating on something, driving or when suffering from a shameful lack of attention. It is nearly impossible to over squonk, another of my bad habits.

I wondered after I started to like it if I would be bounced from the squonkers club and resign my membership in OverSquonkers Anonymous. I have gotten to where I use the Galaxy 80% of the time. Easy build with enough room for a 3.5 coil diameter, the single coil is mounted by Allen head set screws (I am an old guy and wrapping wire around a small screw tests my eyesight), plenty of air full open all the way to very restricted. I ordered two more because these and the Entheon's are my favorites.

It's been a week since I started squonking and I'm definitely loving it. But I still love my fave two RTAs as well ;)

I haven't visited this forum in years, but decided to come see what's going on around here. I saw this thread and just finished reading it. I'm so far behind the times with what's out there!

I'm an old school REO squonker. It's wonderful to see squonking isn't dead!

It’s great in the hand, isn’t it? Lefty or righty. And don’t worry, I still love my tanks, too.

The elder dragon vapes okay, better I think when the battery is not quite freshly charged. I wiggled the cap around, but the only way to get a reasonable vape without whistling is to not draw very hard on it. Not my thing, but for rdl folks it might suit just fine. For hard hitters like myself, it gets too hot because you can’t get enough air in it without calling the dogs.

The club is on VA now. I’m interested in that as well. Note that if you buy one, at the bottom of the listing you choose mtl or dl for the rda. I watched Mike vape’s review and either he didn’t mention which rda he got or I missed it.

Saw that and thought it looked interesting....then I saw the price and laughed long and hard.

I’m not above the occasional splurge on insanely expensive toys, but that’s a good 3 months of spending cash for me - for an AIO. That’s the part that puts me off. AIO is still new to me, and I’d like to try it but on something fairly cheap.

I’ve tried a couple aio’s and Didn’t have any luck, the Omega looked promising as it has an actual rda but the price tag is just damn...I’ll blow coin on a kickass jet boat to quote Uncle Chet lol.

I really want the Spade DNA 75c. Can’t find one I like now though, waited too long. I’d gladly eat PB&J for two months for a nice blue one though.

Yep, it's brilliant in the hand :thumb:

I've got arthritis (at the grand old age of 45 ;)) in my wrists, fingers, and lower thumb joints. I struggled at first with the clicker fire button with my thumb - but after a week, I can click away comfortably to the cows come home :D

What are you guys using to refill your squonk. bottles?

I've been doing it the old fashioned way of taking out the bottle, unscrewing the cap and tube - then filling.

I have a coil father dripper bottle, which I'll try next time - just not sure if it will fill via the 510 pin or not like this:

It should work fine --- but you have to do the flippy dance: screw it on, flip the whole thing (so the mod is on top) and squeeze the squonk bottle, flip it back and squeeze the refill bottle ... repeat once or twice.
