What are you guys using to refill your squonk. bottles?

I've been doing it the old fashioned way of taking out the bottle, unscrewing the cap and tube - then filling.

I have a coil father dripper bottle, which I'll try next time - just not sure if it will fill via the 510 pin or not like this:

Good ol’ fashion pull the bottle and fill here.

I know there are some mods where the bottle is difficult to get in and out, and for those a refill bottle could make sense, but for the vast majority of squonk mods what could be easier than pull the bottle and fill ‘er up. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it ;)

Plus, most of my attys tend to live on particular mods. Once on they stay there, less wear and tear on the 510s.

Mods that have doors to access the bottles are pretty easy to remove the bottle from. Lunas only have the squonk hole, so refill bottles really make it easier.

I take my RDAs off all the time - well, at least every other day- to clean them, so I fill the bottles then. If the 510s wear out, so be it. But I always use a beater mod to dry burn or build because that’s when I’m most likely to drop my mod, plus I want to be able to read the coil as most of my squonkers are unregulated.

I unscrew the cap, fill, and screw back on. Wish the cap wasn't detachable though, as I know I'll loose it.

On any squonker that I don't run TC, I use the GeekVape Flask to refill them, no muss, no fuss.
On TC squonkers (don't want to disturb the resistance) I pull the bottle. Putting the tube end on the juice bottles nozzle, I do it the same as using a flask, invert squeeze out air, invert again and fill.

Taking the caps off of the squonk bottles is a PiTA for me.

When I used a RSQ 80w as my daily driver, I used a 510 Refilling Bottle. Worked Great.

Something though that should be Mentioned:

If someone has a Refill Bottle that has an All Metal 510 Connector (Not Recommended) like this ...

... you should take the Battery(s) out of the mod Before Refilling.

I just go with your pull the bottle and attach the tube to the juice bottle. One or two flips and I'm done. I rarely take the actual cap off the squonk bottle itself.

Tried out your method,,, should work for me (as soon as I get my technique down,, step 1turn on the lamp,, step 2 put on my readers ). I took a mini juice bath earlier :D

Another noob unregulated question - I've been pulling my battery as soon as the vape gets underpowered enough to annoy me. It's usually around 3.7 volts. Do mosfets keep going like mechs, or do they have a voltage cutoff?
Depends on the mod ... some are just mosfet switches, some are mosfet switches with other protections. The Gloom clones, I think, is just a switch ... the Luna has protections including a low voltage protection at 3.3v.

If you're looking for a more consistent vape, you could build a little lower ohm, and not use a fully charged battery. Starting at 4v and going to 3.2 seems to give me more useable maH.

Keep the tubing firmly attached to the bottle nozzle, it can easily pop off at the most inconvenient time. ;)

Then you take out those 3.7V batteries and pop them into a regulated mod. There is still a days good vaping left in them. Unregulated and mechs are fun, but I'm not carrying half a dozen batteries with me for the day. ;)

If I don't short charge, I usually just close down the airflow as the voltage drops off. Going from DL to almost a MTL.

No squonking here yet but I am one of the rare rdta fans, Limitless Plus being my favorite so far with Faris in the line up. I don’t get to test drive equipment too much so there may be better out there but those two are good in my eyes. So an rda with a squonk is where it’s going to be at.

I saw the Drone 250C and really, really liked it and it looks like a few of you do to. It may be unavailable by the time I get enough cash to pull the trigger so hopefully something equivalent shows up. What would be perfect is a mod the size of a dual battery, with two batteries and a squonk but physics wants to be difficult about that.

I saw a few photos of the Rage, which is almost like a dual size with a squonk. Any feedback on how your experience has been with it, for those that have used one? I really liked the look of the Stainless one, it looked real nice and clean.

In regards to filling them, for that Wotofo Faris I have the little fill plug looks easily tearable so instead of using it and risking a tear I just fill it up with a blunt tip 5ml syringe I picked up for something like $1.20. Those syringes come in really handy for transferring eliquid without making any messes so I would most likely end up using one of those for squonk filling. If you’ve never used one give it a try and see if it makes things any easier for you.

A good 35 Amp CDR 21700 squonk is were it's at. That new wotofo dual looks interesting though. Side fill bottle.
