Sitting down, facing forward.
Given that rayon wicks better, can supply liquid at a higher rate, if anything you may be able to run at higher temperatures. Another thing about rayon wick is that many people report increased "nic hit" and lower the nicotine content of their liquids to avoid the "buzz". The same is true of flavor, many report an increase in flavor compared to other wicks.

I've been using rayon wick for about eight months now. I use it exclusively and when I do try a silica wicked coil it tastes muted and quite different than a rayon wick with the same liquid. To me, the vapor from rayon wick almost has a texture when compared to other wicking materials that makes it a much more satisfying vape. These are my personal observations and preferences, your mileage may vary.

Awesome, thanks! I'm going to try it out. Can't hurt!

I can buy it for £1 ($1.50) per metre (3 feet), or I can pay £45 ($68) for 365 metres / 1200 feet :) (The annoying thing is that the latter is actually only £25 for the Rayon, but then £20 delivery! Though I guess the box might be quite big..)

I think I'll start with a metre or two ;)

I did find it interesting to see that I could easily and (relatively) cheaply get a vast wholesale quantity, simply from Amazon, and that the standard markup is vast; maybe I should invest in some and try and re-sell on eBay! ;)

It is a lot less expensive over here. I bought a box of Graham CelluCotton from Sally's Beauty Supply, a US chain, for about $12.00(US) and that's enough for a century or so. You can pick it up from FleaBay or check in the last ten or so pages of that thread I posted. There are a few people "across the pond" using it and they have some sources that I can't remember at the moment.

Ah yeah I saw Sally's Beauty in my Googling, and thought it a shame that there isn't (or doesn't immediately appear to be) a UK equivalent. Sally's had the 500 feet box for a reasonable price - I guess that's the one you just mentioned.

I will check that thread in more detail. Thanks again!

Just a heads up but ignore my previous post about boost circuit on this thing. It is actually pretty good and, I think, subjectively better than my kangxin VF clone. The reasons for the post will remain obscure as it is too embarassingt oreoprt...just lets say I had a 'senior' moment!

I saw this on Vapor Tek this morning and ordered it based on it being super rugged. Then, I read this thread. I probably still would have ordered it despite the glitches that have been mentioned. I have two iSticks, an original and a 30, and like them, but they always seem to need a charge at the same time.

This will also be my first experience with Ni200 and temp control. I've got tempered Ni200 on 28 and 30 gauge and will start out with an ElrK clone to keep it simple.
I got that email for it. That was a good deal at least price wise. My good deal is on the slow boat ride and I figure it will be here in the next week or two.

Mine has definitely gotten confused about whether it is in TC mode or not after shutdown...got a tip from Heatvape on the losing savings issue (not sure if this is in the manual or not) but if you click the + and - buttons at the same time 5 times, it will save settings and shut down. Also, they told me that the unit is designed to shutdown after 120 seconds with no atty attached, 50 minutes of no activity with one attached...so I am guessing that the random shutdowns are being caused by the unit thinking that there is no atty attached, for whatever reason...
