New to e-cigs and spending too much?

I started out with a provari, guess that is a bit much for a starter but I tacked on the extender cap and 18650s. Since I've spent another $300 bucks buying juices and other stuff I would like to try out, but still its only 1.5 months of what I would spend smoking for 4 or so months worth of juice. Thus far I am in love though

I have spent a fortune on different bits and pieces trial and error I think !! after about 5 months I have gotten to where I want to be with the right kit and right flavours so hopefully that will now keep the spending down,like most on here started out with basic stuff,but suppose we all start somewhere and get it right in the end !!!

I personally have only spent just over $100.00 on a 510 starter kit, some cartomizers, and a DIY e-juice setup. But from what I have read on these forums, a lot of people treat vaping as a hobby. I don't believe you will find yourself alone in your spending.

You're right. A lot of us have been bitten by the "e" bug and are still spending. And eastsider, if you think YOU have it bad, I have cut back on my groceries so I can buy more e stuff.

I've been vaping for about 4 months and currently am in the hole about $40.00 from what I would have spent on analogs. However, I have plenty of juice (though lots of it is yucky), enough attys and batteries. I also was able to purchase a Reo mini. That's not too bad, though I would certainly prefer to be saving money since that was also a motivational factor in quitting the $10.00/pack smoking habit. For me, I think one of the reasons I continue to purchase more juice is that I still crave analogs and still search for that crave killer. Of course, there's my reorders on the juices I love.

Oh yeah, I have a crapload of stuff I bought in the last month. Most of it useful, except for the bazillion liquid samples I bought the day before discovering I am indeed not able to vape PG

However, since my other hobbies are collecting antique diamond jewelry and French art deco glass... this one is *way* cheap in comparison!

But, then again, my Djarum Blacks were $8... per pack of *ten*. And I smoked one of those a day.
