Eastsider - oh yeah

And 5 months in I am still spending. It didn't help that I had to rebuy all of my juices and new ones twice when some part of my head suddenly decided "oh guess what - we're dropping a nicotine level" and the rest of me with the credit card was like "What the heck! I just bought a bunch of juices in the current level!"

BTW Here is the thread you can bump every time you buy something new

Hey cyberwolf, where are you getting the Latakia blend? That is my favorite.

And yeah, it's a hobby now. Like pipe smoking, it becomes about collecting. The experience is more than just getting nicotine into your system. That's the flaw in all those quite smoking patches and gums. They are just delivery systems, not a replacement for the hobby you had.

I bought two Joye 510 sets(one for me and one for husband). Not more than 3 days later I am buying us both Riva 901's. I have two orders of juice, and one more order for some more attys, LR attys, adapter, carts, cartos,....oy! It's just so overwhelming at first! Especially the juice. I tried my first non-tobacco flavors yesterday and was kind of disappointed. So I ordered more juice (ya I know). Anyway, yes...I'm with you in spending too much!

I bought a Smoketip (I actually like the juice that comes with it) then a week later Vicki over at Cignot helped me pick out an eGo set. Strangly enough, I prefer the smoketip when I wake UP, and with my first cup of coffee, then I go straight for the eGo. Weird huh?

I live in a state where a CHEAP carton of smokes is 60dollars (that's generic $80 for Marlboro/Camel). A carton lasts me a weekish (closer to 8-9 days cause I smoke WAY to much on my weekends) equates to 240ish a month. Yep, my vaping is going to have to get REALLY expensive to top THAT.

At 1 month in, I've spent about $220 and am trying to put a stop to my ordering for a while.

I've bought 4 complete DSE801s so that I can use two at a time. While two are drying or charging, the other two are in use.
The rest of the money has been spent on juices, flavoring and mixing supplies. So far I've not found a ready made juice that I love so I've turned to DIY. Thankfully, I have found that tFA DK Tobacco Base Flavor sure can fix bad tasting ready-to-use tobacco flavored juices. At least I didn't have to throw them out.

I've just received another order of flavors so I think I'm set for a month or two now. At some point when I'm ready to vape in public more, I may add a couple of 808 or 901 PVs to my collection. But that's later ... l a t e r ...must give it a break.

In almost a year I have spent $300 and that is just at Gourmet Vapor. $140 at Velvet Vapors, $120 at Viking Vapor. I have 4 510 sets(from when hubby was vaping). Gave away the shorty V4L kit with PCC. A magma PCC, Joye PCC with 4 306 batts,I went thru 60 306 cartos, a few other ecig kits Blu and a 403 eh. Multiple smart cart variations. I now need new Ego batts after 5 mos of heavy daily use. I invested in the Ego mega atty and carts and finally just made a 4 mos supply order at GV so now when I get my new batts I will be done for a while. I hope. When I order my new batts next week I am also going to get 2 new Mega attys and a drip tip to match. So still have another $100 to spend. It just goes to show this HOBBY can be as expensive as you let it be. I have finally found what works perfect for me so it will be time for me to clean out the stash and get rid of all the stuff I do not use.

Anyone else out there go crazy when starting e-cigs and bought all kinds of stuff?

I wonder if I'm addicted to buying vaping paraphenilia as much as vaping itself! Over the last 3 weeks playing with the new toy and figuring out how it works, reading the e-cig forum etc I've made the following purchases in order:

1) v6 Prodigy 3.1 full kit
2) e-Juice: Fire & Ice, SLT, Sweet Tooth sample pack
3) 5 510 attys
4) 2 drip tips
5) 5 pack of regular 510 cartos
6) e-Juice: Cherry cola, Applewood, RY4
7) GoGo kit
8) 5 pack jumbo 510 carts
9) e-Juice: 5 pack Lung Juice, 2 HV octane juice
10) 2x 3.7 volt long batteries for 3.7v vaping on the Prodigy + charger
11) 4 HR cartos
12) 4 LR cartos
13) 2 LR attys
14) e-Juice: Pina colada
15) more e-Juice (different vendor): Boba's bounty, Root beer, C&D, Strawberry cooler, sweet tart

Sadly, the package carrying #8/9 arrived torn and were missing. And I'm honestly thinking about re-ordering those!

Anyone else out there go crazy the first month and buy a boatload of stuff?

Im two weeks in and have spent enough to buy a small island!!!lol But I have to say its worth it!!!! :)

That's the way I looking at too Tan. I figured that I was spending about $90/week on smokes so I don't mind buying a few items from this and that place to get a feel for some of the different stuff out there. As long as I keep it well below what I was spending on cigarettes.

I also started out with a SmokeTip and have been mainly buying 808D-1 compatible items. I have started refilling the old carts and buying blanks (and batteries and chargers..).

I bought one of the Blu kits and used it for a week. Sent it back and ordered kr808d from myvaporstore. Love it. I am now slowly going broke buying small bottles of liquid searching for a main use liquid. Currently Malty from BWB is leading the pack but we will see.
Look what you are NOT spending on cigarettes. I smoked a little over 40 years and now am having one or 2 a day just trying to use up the last couple of packs laying around. This ecig stuff is wonderful!

If you saw my wishlist you wouldn't feel so bad. I need to buy about a dozen 510 attys, regular and LR, another ego batt, about $100 in juice, a GLV 2 mini or supermini and extra batteries, an auto 510 kit with an extra manual batt and PCC for those days when I want to be less conspicuous than the fat batt ego, a couple LR 306 attys, pyrex drip tips from theEcig in 510 and 306, a 5v passthrough and wall adapter from madvapes (one of the cone shaped ones), another storm tank, 2 mini maps and one regular map, another giantomizer (when they're re-released) and last but not least about 20 fluxo/clearo's.

Grand total: $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ lol, so don't feel bad. I'm not exactly saving money either. I'll slowly buy this stuff over time, but eventually I'll get everything.

Did more spending than I should have since it isn't exactly my money I have been spending. Although I was able to gain some knowlege. I always did like taking things apart and putting them back together. So yeah I got a little of this and a little of that inorder to do the earlier said sentence.
Still trying to learn the language ect. ect.

Lol section. Over the last 2 months I have purchased your list. 2 Pyrex drips still on way, I got the glv2 5v and super mini, and reo mini, instead of the madcaps 5v I got the one from liberty flights Gary b mod, and only thing I didn't get the giantomisers because I read bad reviews. Throw in an xs haler, wet box, some super t drip tips, and tanks in as early purchases and I'm identical.
