Okay, I had a post and lost it somehow - got my kit last night ...SO exciting! Thanks, thanks for the extras. I think I'm going to LOVE this......matter of finding the right flavor and nic level......I ordered the high level because I read you would need more than what your analogs were.......this morning my tongue is sore, my throat is sore..........from coughing my head off trying to use this thing right.........maybe I don't know what I'm doing is why???....maybe I ordered too high a level to start out? What do you think? There was very, very little to exhale and I presume it is supposed to be that way? .........I smoke Eve, pack a day......I'm thinking I need to get right with an order for more carts and try some different flavors. Oooh, oooh, they sent me a pink bat - I like that! Thanks! I'm going back to the video and see about this refill thing.......speaking of, I ordered a small bottle of eliquid to refill and didn't get that in my package. Wolf - you are too funny - we are starting out together here - you will have to help teach me too! Okay, I have some more dumb questions - the carrying case - there are two blank slots - what goes there that I don't have? Next - once you put the cart to the battery to use, if you use the carrying case can you break it down without it leaking? I guess I'm trying to avoid screw-ups before I do this. I know these questions are juvenile to most of you, but someday I hope to be able to help newbies who need to use these too! Everyone is so helpful here - once I get these initial questions answered I'll try not to pester!

First off...welcome fwm! I can almost hear your excitement!! It's great is'nt it.
The slots in the carrying case are for extra carts.
You don't have to worry about the carts leaking, although I usually keep the rubber covers on them just to keep them clean and fresh.
And yeah, when you first start vaping, it can be a little harsh...slow long pulls work best for maximum vapor and flavor.

Every cigarette you DON'T smoke is a victory!
I vaped for about a week, while still smoking. I did notice that I was smoking a LOT less every day. Late one night I started out for a smoke and found the pack in my pocket was empty. I knew I had a couple more packs, but couldn't find them. I didn't want to go out, so I figured I would get by with my e-cig and buy more in the morning.
In the morning, I discovered I didn't want them! I haven't even been tempted to smoke since then. My sig will show how long that has been.
So, my advice is to relax. Don't beat yourself up when you have a cig. You'll know when it's time to make the jump.
I smoked for 40 years.

thanks guys for the words of support I am very happy to say that for the FIRST time in 23 years I have gone over 24 hours without a cigarette !!!!!!! there were a couple of times that I did want a cigarette yesterday and today but I held off and didn't do it
FWM congrats or your decision to start with VK too ya since we both started together we can be our own little inspiration to each other you said you were not getting that much vapor out of your vk is that with a manual or auto battery?
a little trick I figured out today with my autos was take a small hit once or twice on it then take your regular hit. I guess ppl call it a primer puff. it makes a big difference!
as for your tongue and throat hurting I would guess it is because you are using a 36mg cart. if I'm not mistaken the real cigarettes that you smokes (eve) is more like a light cigarette to begin with isn't it?
all my carts are 11 mg and they are just about perfect for me since I used to smoke ultralights.

Congrats guys (or guys n gals) you sound as excited as I still feel about vaping! fmw, it sound to me as if the nic level is too high. I also had to get used to vaping and start off with sips, and almost no vapor would come out. It took me time to get used to the new feeling and to learn how to draw properly to stop coughing and to get nice plumes of vapor. It will happen for you too!
ok new question how do you know when a cart is finished? I've got a dr pepper cart that I have been using for 2 days now and I'm still getting vapor out of it. I have been switching through different carts so it is not like I have been using this 1 cdart exclusively for 2 days straight but still I think I have been using it alot
