i have been vaping for the past 2 days
innokin endura t18 2.5 tank device
6mg nicotine e liquid
i used to smoke 5-10 cigarettes a day (next 100' lights but more frequently golden verginia tobacco hand rolled cigarettes - the green one)
i vaped a tank a day, the problem is i dunno if i get more nicotine than i used to smoke or less? cause im trying to quit actually...
im taking few hits once in like 20-30 min and i always look for the next time i will vape after 5 min from the second i took the last drag...
therefore i can understand from that i vape less ?

another question is, maybe i should vape more at once so ihave less craving and vape less frequently that way ?

Welcome to ECF!

6mg is fairly low on the T18.

You can vape as much as you want. The worst that will happen is that you may get a bit dizzy or feel a bit sick. If that happens, stop vaping til you feel better.
I remember one time i felt a bit sick
When you feel like that it means you vaped too much ?

Yea too much nicotine will cause nausea and dizziness. Don’t worry how much nicotine you are getting, just vape enough to keep you from smoking. You can take your time reducing nicotine intake over time. You will be more likely to be successful in quitting smoking if you take your time and don’t rush the process. Obviously if you’re feeling ill then vape less but vape enough to feel comfortable and not fiending for a cig. Vaping isn’t too bad for you so if you vape for a long time to quit smoking your health won’t suffer. Good luck

6 m.g in that setup and one tank a day is very little nicotine. I think you could vape more or raise your nicotine level if you want to transition fully to vaping. It's actually a bit normal to chain vape while transitioning.

Vaping is a bit different than smoking. You don't tend to get the nicotine absorbed as quickly, or in quite the same way. Symptoms of nicotine overload include: dizziness lightheadedness, nausea, headaches, sometimes hiccupping or yawning.

Part of the problem though is that detox symptoms can overlap, so you may just be feeling a bit "weird" generally as you detox from tobacco and/or increase vaping and lower cigarettes. Your body is detoxing from FAR MORE than nicotine, and nicotine is not a 1:1 replacement for cigarettes, although that AND the hand-to-mouth plus inhalation can really, really help.

I will say, most smokers like you using that device often use it at much higher nicotine levels, and I would not be inclined to worry about ONE tank of 6 m.g. nicotine even if you are still smoking some. If you would prefer, vape more at 6 m.g. or increase your nicotine level some.

I chain vaped whilst detoxing, and I was using 18 mg/ml of nicotine. I would vape RIGHT before and AFTER I smoked a cigarette, to pay attention to how I was feeling and how a cigarette was not as "satisfying" as it might have been otherwise, and to reinforce being a vaper. I was able to slowly but steadily stop dual using.

So I don't know that you are getting ENOUGH nicotine, but just keep vaping as you experiment and vaping will seem more "familiar" and less scary than smoking.

I will say, the only times I have ever heard of anyone DYING from nicotine overload was one suicide where the gentleman drank e-liquid and a child got into a bottle. But those were very extreme cases and not related to VAPING e-liquid. Your body will let you know when to stop, by giving you overload symptoms, and after a while, you will learn to gauge it and slow down.

I chain vape when I wake up (just like I used to chain smoke) but my body lets me "know" when it is time to slow down or stop.

Welcome and best of luck as you transition. You can modify your liquid, or simply vape more as you stop using tobacco as much. I felt wonky and weird during that time but most of it was really detox symptoms. Best of luck and welcome.

Average Cigarette = 1mg per cigarette Absorbed..

MTL devices = about 50% of nicotine absorbed..

10 cigarettes average 10mg..

2.5ml of 6mg = 7.5mg which is dead in the middle of your nicotine intake from cigarettes.

If you want to cut back furthar I wouldn't recommend dropping directly to 3mg liquid, I'd recommend getting a bottle of 3mg and a bottle of 6mg and mixing them together so you end up with 4.5mg and a single tank would be 5.6mg a day, after you move down to that for a while then move down to 3mg..

Nicotine isn't the monster you've been told. Use what it takes to completely remove yourself from cigarettes. If your goal is to quit nicotine, you can then decrease the amount used in your vape much easier.
Yeap like 50% of people think Nicotine causes cancer >.> It doesn't...

Honestly mostly the mainstream media, all this talk about how bad vaping/nicotine addiction is and they never mention it.
I see what you're saying. But social media is a race to the bottom for intellectual development and curiosity. It's made people much more gullible.

As a silly example, a friend of my daughter dropped her phone in a water puddle yesterday, and you can probably guess what she did to "save" it.

The internet well may be a super highway, but it's always under construction, and there are certain areas you do not want to visit. LOL, like 4chan OR Facebook.

I didn't put parental controls on my kid's computer (my husband did put timing controls on) and my poor kiddo was a "Brony" for a while. He encountered 4chan during that fateful phase, and was not horrified by too much, other than, "Mom, it's a terrible place! Really! You don't want to go there! People put up gifs of "my little ponies being BOMBED!" LOLOL.

When we were a bit more concerned he was getting into things too deep as an adolescent, we did one of those "dig down/through the computer, I have no idea obviously, but my husband did it). We expected some things, and actually I think I was a bit more concerned by the fact that the kid enjoyed "artistic Japanese ladies in the nude" slightly more than "real" women. That did change, LOL.

My point is though, if you raise your kids right, they will figure out what is "good" and "bad." Of course, if you make a FB page for your FETUS (yes people do that) the kid is obviously doomed. DOOMED.

That is the kind of stuff that troubles me, the fact that someone is so into FB they want to "lock" their kid into it... that and the ads that stalk me, the ridiculous fits over NOTHING, and the lack of good sense. I swear people lose 100 IQ points and about a billion "social politeness" points, the moment they log in.

Fox is no longer allowing anyone to screen "Idiocracy." While I hated the movie, I do think it should be required watching for those with no irony impairment, but it's probably too late. My household thinks it should be on ALL channels playing 24/7 for the 6 months leading up to the election...:lol::lol: We don't get our way, of course, but we would LIKE to. Heh.

I just watched idiocracy today, I enjoy it. It’s one of those movies that gets better the more you see it. Office space was like that for me too. Napoleon dynamite is another, it takes several viewings to appreciate the ridiculousness of those movies and it grows on me. As for Facebook, I don’t partake. I’m too busy watching fine cinema. The big Lebowski is another that I appreciate more the more I see it. Does that answer the OP’s question?
