The discussion that's come since my comment sort of supports the point I made about the OP. There are so many specific preferences for what one likes in their vape. Some like a Kayfun & find it convenient. Myself, I do not and I've spent enough time with it to know why I prefer something else. Another person likes a dripper and I've used those & know what about them I do & don't like. Some people don't like bottom feeders and/or think regulated mods are best. I love my REO and I'm perfectly happy and safe using it even though it's a mec.
I have found a set up that works nicely for me & I also at times use a device that uses prebuilt coils although it's not my main vape. But what new vapers really need to do is take some time and sort out what works & doesn't work for them. If the simplicity of a prebuilt coil device works great for their needs then there is no reason to move to a more self sustaining set up quickly unless that's a goal for them. And if someone finds that they like working with rebuildables and/or making their own eliquids, that's great too & I hope they enjoy doing it & finding their perfect vape that way.
But I don't think someone who chooses to use what's convenient is using a lazy product. There's nothing wrong with being happy with the advancements that have taken place with vape products over the years. I personally think vaping has come a long way since I started and these new products wouldn't be here if everyone just decided they needed to make their own coils & eliquids as soon as possible.
