Oh it's Imeo Thanasis I had number 1158. It was really a work of art in its day but I didn't know anything and screwed up
charging overnight is bad taboo, yes many people charge their phones overnight, but the same "problems" or incidents can also happen. its just better off to charge them in daytime, where you can monitor them incase of an issue - such as the cloupers posted above, the first batches of the mod caught fire when atempted to be charged from the usb port. - its better to be safe then sorry.
Okay so i can see how charging something with an internal battery that can't be replaced will eventually damage or lose charge.. but what about an 18650 battery charging over night. I'm sure it would have the same effects, but my question is how long will the battery hold up?
Rebuilding simply isn't for some people. A girl that works for me went out and got a RDA, and a nifty "battery holder". She's used it about two weeks rebuilt twice (once with my help) and simply doesn't want to mess with it. She now has an Ileaf and a nautilis mini and is happy as can be with it. (she came from an MVP and full size nautilis which was lost/stolen one night). To simply issue a blanket statement that re-building is for everyone, especially all new people, is just wrong.
It doesn't matter how easy (or hard) some people think it is, it for various reasons might not be for everyone. Hell on any given day I shake a little and have problems getting the wire thru the hole. There's tons of reasons that it may NOT be for a newbie, or even a seasoned vapor.
Yep there are some really good mods out there now. The Provari is falling behind a little but you can't beat them for longevity. When you press that button they just seem to always work. I remember when I got my first one waited 5 weeks for it to arrive, my wife thought I was crazy spending that kind of money now we have 5 including hers. She has no interest in rebuilding she likes her Provari and Nautilus especially since they came out with the BVC's all she uses. Always works I keep track of her heads and change when needed.
Yer much of what you are talking about is much more relevant with mechanical devices. Building a coil is simple and and idiot who knows how to use a screwdriver and count wraps can do it successfully.
Again. There are no known stories of a coil build ever backfiring on anything other then a mech and if a short in a homemade coil is going to blow somebody's fingers off (which it hasn't), what about a stock coil from China? You trust Chinese quality control enough to assume a BVC can be any different?

One of the reasons I posted this is to hopefully influencing you vet vapers to change your recommendations to new vapers. Do you think a new vaper wants the hassle of needing to upgrade their vape hardware two or three times before they find something doesn't annoy them or make them feel cheated?
Edit: Chances are, if a person is reading these forums they are already somewhat informed and not completely new. Stop treating adults with kid gloves.
Sorry, I will admit that I was a little heated when I posted the OP but I believe the message comes from a good place and is valid. I may be new HERE, but I have put in my due diligence in learning the issues that might harm a vaporizer user. To be honest I am reaching my fill of the members here treating fellow vapers like children. Thanks for your feedback.
That quote has been stated at least 3 times previous in this thread. Thank you for not reading the thread and assuming I have not done my research.
Why?
So I can waste money and time? No thanks!

I actually disagree with that. Provape really didn't even need to come out with the P-3 to remain a viable option.
Guess they could always put their chip set in a box ... to keep up with the Joneses.
I actually find it funny that after playing with it for a day, I set up my brand new iStick 50 exactly the same as my Provari 2.0
The only difference is that after charging those batteries 300 +/- times, the iStick goes in the trash, and the provari doesn't.
That's the only time I get shaky and desperately want a cigarette,
