Probably 3 weeks. Working on a 2AA box variable volt with 2 14500
FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!! I for some reason love box mods, and this would be the perfect solution to all my problems.

When do you think you might have siblings? My wife would like a small variable volt mod but we've never had any luck with those Trustfire protected 10440 batteries. They crap out all the time and we're always having to buy new ones. So a sibling to the little sister that used 14500 batteries would be nice.

I have several 10440 mods and granted the battery does not last long but have had no other problem with them.

I use unprotected 10440 batteries in my Janty Stick and have no problems with them. My wife uses Trustfire protected 10440 batteries in her VP1 and we're always having to replace them. They work good for a month but after that they only have power for a few minutes. They'll only charge for a few minutes too. She finally quit using her VP1 because of the battery problem.
You won't have any problem with unprotected 10440's in a stick because the stick has a built in protection circuit.
Why you are getting crappy results with life on them I have no idea. I would suggest purchasing some ICR10430's, they are 3.6v 260 Mah made for e-gars but work great with the stick. I also have a VP1 and have not had any issues.
What advantage is there to using 10430 versus 10440? What batteries are you using in your VP1?
I am waiting for the 2-14500 version.. cant wait to order... Ken when will it be??? lol
