Hmmm... What about the type of wire? What gives better flavor on this tank?

I'm using a regulated mod have been only using .3 kanthal builds. I like to vape in 30 to 40 watt range.

Any suggestions?
Again, it's very subjective. Some notice considerable differences in taste between different wire materials, others don't. I don't. Only way to know is to try out different wires. I use 26 and 28 ga ss316 in the Bellus. Ss316 because it can be used in both vw and tc and is easy to work with, and 26 and 28 ga because I like working with those gauges. I have some ss316 Clapton wire but haven't used it in the Bellus (yet). Not sure if it'll fit in dual coils, and it'll require more power if it does.

Just an observation: the fill caps on my new black Bellus seem to be nicer than my original SS ones, which is fantastic, since the SS ones are a pain to not cross thread sometimes. The black ones seemed a bit cleaner out of the box as well. So kudos to UD for improving the quality on the later runs.

my first box mod ever was a snow wolf mini, my first tank ever was the UD Zeph V2...I have a thing for UD, honestly their QC is pretty good but I think they've been lagging behind this year with all the new RTAs coming out with velocity style build decks running at 150W with quadruple airflows and sextuple coils.

They aren't lagging, they just aren't all about throwing klowdz or building RTAS/tanks that need a ton of power to function(smok). The Bellus deck is great imo.
right, so they're not throwing out whats appealing to the mass market yet they aren't lagging, you say to mah to I say tomato

Not even about "klowdz" or huge wattage, lagging b/c they haven't put out an RTA or even a tank with an RBA that compares to the new players currently on the market.

Just to list a few that we see on the forums: Geek vape (griffin line), Augvape (boreas and alleria), Vaperesso (gemini line), Aromamizer (supreme rdta), Smok (TF-RTA), Ehpro (Billow V3)...and I'm sure theres more for 2016

Your above post states otherwise.

Semantics? They haven'the gone that high wattage route because that's not how they design their line. 150w and quadruple airflow with sextuplets coils isn't the norm outside of our niche market.

it was a hyperbole, I thought the sextuple coil build would've made it obvious.

High wattage isn't necessary although is an option with these new RTAs. I build my Griffin, Alleria (gemini, supreme, tf-rta still on route) all around .3-.5ohms vaping at about 40-60 watts, not really a high wattage route or cloud chaser route.

Wish you would've quoted the second part of my 2nd post. Fact of the matter is we are in the 2nd quarter of 2016 and UD has yet to put out a new RTA that competes with the current popular players out there and that by definition is lag.

Defend them all you want, I'm going to stop here :), I'm not even hating on UD. My first quote shows that I actually like their products and I have the Bellus, but I guess the word lag rubbed you the wrong way.

I'll add my thought about the Bellus.:D Not liking it at all. Very finicky and tough, at least for me, to build on when comparing it to an atty like the Griffin. The Griffin is a dream to build on and performs excellent. I got both around the same time and the Bellus is about to go in the trash. In fact, I'm making an executive decision as I type to throw it in the trash right now. I have a Theorem coming soon... it looks very promising.

Your Wicks are too Long....
and, too "bushy".
You are robbing yourself of Flavor and restricting the Air Flow. Yes, it obviously "works" but with muted Flavor and Mass.
Thin it out a tad (about 25-33%) and trim the Length so it ends at the Deck cut-outs and you will get a significantly better Vape.

Fact: IF your Bellus is Leaking when Top-Filling (or at all),
You ARE doing something Wrong.
The real Issue is User Error and NOT the Tank itself.
Sorry and no offense but Truth is Truth regardless of who's feelings get hurt by it.

The Tank will have a slight "Seepage" from the AFC at times due to sudden changes in ambient Temp and Pressure same as all RTAs. If you force Juice into the Tank too quickly (and/or too full) it will break Vacuum and start a siphon-type flow and thus a Dump situation. If you over-fill it, it will leak/seep as well.
Always leave about the top 1/8" of the Tank empty to create an Air Pocket inside so the Tank can Equalize and create proper Vacuum and feed correctly.
It's not just a few people who thinks it leaks when you top fill but also reviewers. A good one is Cappy Vapes check out his review on the bellus on YouTube. Maybe your bellus is one of the good ones that doesn't leak on top fill.
what batt said, this thing requires a longer wick with more cotton for top fill to not leak. Also make sure you position your coils directly behind the bottom air flow hole...

I find the bellus to be a bit finicky with TC builds. I generally wick it too heavy and get a weak vape then start trimming the wicks back until I get it right. Occasionally I'll go to far and get leakage when top filling. I use either 28g ni200 or 28g SS430 for TC.
This week I've decided to take a break from TC and built 9 wrap 2mm contact coils with 26g kanthal. I'm amazed at how easy the wicking was. Didn't have to trim at all what I'm sure would be a weak vape in TC mode. I've pushed it as far as 55 watts without any burning and 40 watts still makes a strong vape. I have it at 50 watts now for comfort.
