Hi all,
I'm trying to quit a small cigarette habit...2-3 light cigarettes per day. I picked up a smok Nord and the clerk instructed me to use the 1.4 coil as I want to do MTL. I said I wanted the lowest (but not zero) nicotine level juice. When I left, I noticed the juice is a Nicotine salt and is 30ML and 35MG. Isn't that really high? I thought juices could go as low as 1.5MG. Just wanted to get some advice before I start ripping this thing and find I'm jonesing for Nicotine.
Thank you!
Jason

Welcome to ECF, Jason. Well the clerk was right to suggest using the 1.4 ohm coil. To sell you 35 mg/ml nic salt juice, that was quite an oversight. A rip or two of that juice is quite likely way more than the amount of nicotine you were getting from two or three cigs a day! Get some lower nic juice (1.5 is commercially available), or you can try out the juice you have now, but I bet you'll feel light-headed at least, maybe even so far as nauseous. Don't worry though, that's not a dangerously high level, just more than you need.

Thank you for the reply and helpful info. I definitely don't want to unnecessarily start a bigger nicotine addiction so I'll head back for proper juice. I'd like to enjoy using the Nord...not worry everytime I rip it :)

Thank you! I will go back today and ask for a swap to a zero nic juice. I just don't know how angry to be with them...nicotine addiction is extremely hard to kick.

I wouldn’t be too upset with them... no telling how little training s vape shop worker might have gotten.

I will say this though, I doubt they’ll take your juice back - health and safety reasons. So be ready for that. That’s why I suggested getting zero nic if possible to mix with it. Good luck!

Welcome to ECF, you're on the right track. As others have suggested, I'd try the juice you bought. If you get dizzy or nauseous, it's too strong. You can buy the same flavor w/ zero nic and mix the two until you find the right strength. Mixing 1 to 1 would get you to 17 1/2 which might be better. Keep experimenting and you'll be very glad you did.

Yeah, they wont take the juice back they sold you. Dont even ask. If all you smoke is a couple 2 or 3 a day, the clerk was an idiot to sell you 35mg salt nic. You could probably do well enough on 3mg anyway.
