With Armor V2, it's probably OK. Those fancy tops are designed to keep oxygen and water vapor out of the bottles. In fact, if they're working correctly, the headspace in the bottle will remain under vaccuum.Oy... Have I been doing it wrong all this time? I never really "defrost" my nic. Mine is all NN Armor ( a couple of old V2s and the rest V1, sealed with Argon). I take the V2 bottles out, give them a good shake and then insert a luer slip syringe into the opening, turn the bottle upside down, and draw what I need into the syringe! Then I dilute it and store the working bottle in the fridge. The mother bottle goes back into the freezer.
Not good?
Pourquoi?I really don't want to vape 12-year-old nic.

The problem with opening conventional bottles when they're still cold is that condensation will form inside the bottle. IMO, conventional bottles should be allowed to come to room temperature before they're opened.
I'm pretty sure it's in this thread somewhere; I bought some from them, 120ml in PG and 120ml in VG. The PG nic smelled and looked very clean. The VG nic, not so much.I'm Not Say'n that they [Carolina Extract] Don't have Quality Nicotine. They Probably do.
I'm still vaping nic from 2014. It's absolutely fine. I can't think of any reason it would be any worse in another 6 years either.
Can someone explain the difference between NN's Armor V1, V2 and V3? I guess its all the same nic, but just packaged differently?
V1 is bottled with Argon, that's obvious, but what's the difference between V2 (anti-leak) and V3 (anti oxidation)? Product page doesn't say anything and FAQ page doesn't either.
V1 is in conventional glass bottles, purged with argon. Can someone explain the difference between NN's Armor V1, V2 and V3?
I don't know, I think Carolina Xtract is onto something. One time I let a bottle of nicotine freeze and thaw repeatedly, then I accidentally opened it one night past midnight. This is what came out:

But did you vape it?
Been trying to gather info from this thread and want to ask a question. I have 500ml of 250mg VG coming (nicotine River), I won't need to use any of it for at least 6 months and what I think I should do is don't even open the plastic container but put it directly into the deepfreezer until needed. Then break it up into smaller glass bottles. (part of me wants to look at it smell it but I'm getting what I'm getting and curiosity won't help the nicotine).
Also my deepfreezer can go down to -20f but now I have it operating around -3f. Should I turn it down more?
When I first got a larger container, I thought it through like this - two approaches:Been trying to gather info from this thread and want to ask a question. So I'll try to contribute something instead of just take. I was vaping vapers tek regular nic subohm no flavor at 50mg for a couple years. A few months back I switched to
Nicotine river had to buy their 48mg mix and comparing it to Vaperstek it was really close although I did notice a slight peanut butter flavor (closest thing I could think of to describe it) and considered it a nice change and pleasant. But all in all the difference was small. Note- It could be a difference in vg brand..whatever nicotine river uses vs. my essential depot. (sorry it wasn't more scientific).
Thanks for all the work thats been done here!!!
Wouldn't be able to afford another bottle to replace if it is bad and wouldn't be able to afford not buying another bottle because the price for juice from the not so local stores will be astronomical in comparison. I guess I better get some more glass bottles quick. Thanks

Carolina Extracts have some tobacco fields here in NC they use for their nic solution.VG salts is what I have from Carolina Xtract. When I first mixed it in an unflavored batch, it had a mild note of Virginia tobacco. I let the same bottle of nicotine sit at room temperature in summer for a few months. I mixed another batch and it had a mild aroma and flavor to it that's hard to describe.
Around the same time we had a tree chopped down and put in the wood chipper. The smell of the tree being chipped was very similar. It actually messed with my brain a little. Every time I walked by the pile of fresh wood chips I had this feeling like I accidentally spilled a lot of nicotine somewhere.
I wouldn't say it's an unpleasant taste/smell, but definitely there. If you're adding flavoring, it's something you don't notice.
I've been happy with their nic so far, but I thought it would be prudent to diversify into a different brand. Unfortunately, although I have tried recently, I have been unable to get anything shipped to NY.
Anyone else have any luck getting nicotine to NY recently?
