I wonder how many regulars here have a supply of nicotine base that at their usual rate of consumption would outlast their natural life expectancy.
I'm only about half way there at the moment, but I buy another liter every month or two, and expect to be fully stocked by the end of this year.

I seriously wonder if the government will legislate posession of nicotine illegal, unless of course its the "regulated and taxed" nicotine we purchase after the new laws go into effect ?

Yeah, I know theres no way they'll be able to barge into my home and take my nicotine away, but I wouldnt be so ignorant to assume they wouldnt put something in place to confiscate peoples surplus reserve stock of it. Especially those of us who have been buying large quantities.

Operation green merchant comes to mind. In which the gov gathered information on who and where certain "things" were being purchased and shipped to, as a way to do warranted searches for "the goods".

That same thing could be a problem in our futures. In which case we'd have to have a valid proof that the inventory was already consumed or otherwise no longer in our posession.

Yeah, I hope I'm just being paranoid and none of this will happen. But I am fairly certain similar big brother actions are already in the planning stages. California for example is one of those places where I would not want to be, being such a nanny gov kind of state.

arrrgh, thinking out loud...

Most estimates suggest 25% of the population are nontasters, 50% are medium tasters, and 25% are supertasters. I seem to be if not a supertaster then a very close second lol. I do not like any kind of pepper and especially black pepper. In the first nic base I tried it was to me horrible, the second was at first better then got to be just as bad - I blamed it on the heat in my wee apartment. The third try was ok the fourth was a disappointment and the fifth I am using only with tobacco flavorings(seems to cover it best). I started with 24mg nic and now do 18mg nic and plan to keep to it. Hopefully that will help explain it. And even lowering the nic to 6mg I can still taste the black pepper. Imagine every time you vape tasting something you adhor - would you want to still do it?? I make non tobacco juice using non nic:vapor:

Well there you go then. Shame it limits you so much. I was almost totally off nic after 11 months- maybe you'll be totally done with it soon.
I'm probably an average pepper person. A small bit on food and I can't hardly taste it.

I did notice it alot when I tried to vape my 24mg/100% PG base the one time. Much better at 12mg-50/50. Seems much more noticeable in PG then for me. Tried 100%VG yet?

To answer r77r7r's question - yes I tried more vg and it makes it feel hard for me to breathe and I already knew before trying to vape that I did not like vg. I like Tobaccos and to me they need to have a bit of a bite so my 18mg 70 pg/30 vg base works for them well. I do not plan to ever stop vaping 18mg so that is why I do a non nic base for other Flavors:p

I bought a liter of MFS on sale for $50. I started at 6mg, went to 7mg, but I always had throat irritation, stinging, harshness, and I attributed that eventually to being peppery. I vaped a lot though...

Being new, I thought it might be the PG, so mixed high VG. It wasn't until I lowered the nic that the harshness and pepper went away, down to 3mg. But now I vape way too much based on some advise from people on the forum.

I got a sample of NN, will try ordering a small batch of VT, and ordering Chemnovatic. Will try to find something that let's me vape at higher nic levels so I can pleasantly overdose and thus vape less lol.

I think 4-6ml@12mg is about average around here, give or take, for people that smoked 20-30yrs @ 1--1+ 1/2PAD.

Hm...yea I was at 1.5-2PAD, sometimes up to 3 the month before I (tried to) quit.

At 6mg, I was doing about 15ml. At 3mg, about 20ml. Unscientific math would lead me to believe 9mg would drop me down to a more sane 10ml/day. I just need a nic I can mix 6-12mg without throathit/pepper/irritation. Will try the NN at 6mg today, and waiting on VT and Chemnovatic. See how it goes.

I would add that at 6mg, I was down to 0-3 cigs a day. Also my first vaping experience, was 24mg on an Atlantis. I OD'd after a couple hits and felt so sick I almost didn't smoke analogs that first day lol.

Right now I have no choice but to supplement with analogs until I find a better long term solution. In a bad spot between two worlds.

You could supplement with a higher dosage of nic strength with a delivery device that doesn't quadruple the amount of vapor in one pull. That's basically what I do. I use a Spinner and Cisco Spec 510 "disposable" atties with upwards of 30 mg/mL (and sometimes 24 mg /mL unflavored WTA). And then when I feel like vaping more for the sake of vaping, I vape with low mg/mL and out of RDAs at high watts. But, if I ever need a quick blast -- straight to the brain -- I'll drip some of the high stuff in my RDA. I don't do that often, but after awhile you can begin to auto-regulate and know when the time is right.

Edit: I just checked your join date and I assume you are new, or at least somewhat new? If you don't know what I am referencing with WTA, check this out here: Aroma Ejuice. That may be of some help, so check them out and explain your situation. Also, check here for others in a similar boat. Good luck.
