Yeah its best to vape than smoke..I have asthma when i was young till now..have been smoking analogues for 20 over years..till year 2008 i had a bad asthma and sinus but still returned to analogues till this year 2012 had asthma and sinus which lasted for almost one month and was on antibiotic for 20 days..but guess what? During this time I really cant smoke analogues and I started back my vaping (during the time when i was sick) and it did great,l got better and felt better...my asthma was gone even though I was vaping like mad..so for me this shows that vaping is good compared to analogues..if i were to do this with analogues i would have gone kaput. So..even as a beginner from my point of view they should at least get a VV type of ecig. I would have done that if there were somebody to advice me on this..I started off with small ecigs with lights at the front...but no TH so was on and off with analogues. Now am using the ego and the LT which have more TH..without TH then i think most will go back to analogues...Hope this will help you

i think i love you- david cassidy - YouTube

Thanks John appreciate it..and Hi to you too..we should help each other as vapers and in Malaysia here the customs are getting smarter and smarter regarding e cigs and its hard for us to get good prices supplies from overseas as well...

Hi Spidey -

Yes, I certainly agree that we need to help each other, and especially help those poor souls who are still smoking cigarettes, and are largely unaware that vaping is more enjoyable, and that cigarettes are now IMO an unnecessary evil. I won't stop advocating for e-cigs until the cigarette making machines have all been shut down. I see them the way a soldier would see an enemy machine gun slaughtering his comrades; 440,000 Americans dead every year, and who knows how many worldwide.

So what is the deal with the difficulty of getting e-cig stuff into Malaysia? Is it illegal, restricted, or what?

Thanks, and again, welcome. This really is a great site, with lots of great people, all of whom I know share my keen interest in saving lives through vaping.

Yes, yes...its better to vape and I really cant get enough of it now..heheheh....its some sort in the grey area now...it all depends on your luck when I get them in. Like yesterday when I brought in my LT it got stuck in the customs for 3 days and I thought they were going to send me a letter asking me to go to the customs to collect it..but got lucky and they repacked it back and sent it to my domestic post office for delivery to me. Whew...I dont know what happened this year cos I was out of track and was not vaping last year (not extensively, but still once awhile but now a full time vaper, cheers to that). From what I know is that it is not easy for me to get in large quantity of e liquid but other devices as long as I limit to one should be no problem. My last shipment was 7 btls of 10ml e liquid only...but got stuck but release later..never experienced this before though. Most of the time the shipment was released on the same day. So John which vaping device are you using now for your TH? heheh I think i will limit myself to LT first...Provari is on the high end..

" .... now a full time vaper, cheers to that ...."

Yes indeed, cheers to that. To me, vaping is about as close to a "miracle" as anything can get. ("Miracle" in quotes because I look upon miracles as things that happen which cannot happen, making them, in my view .... well ... impossible).

I once said to my older brother "Ya know? You can't smoke, and not smoke". (Sad but true). His obvious and understandable response: "Gee, Einstein, did you come up with that one all by yourself?". But now, you can. That's more than pretty cool.

"So John which vaping device are you using now for your TH?"

Right now, I'm using a ....... wait for it ...... Joyetech eGo-C Twist 650mah with a bone-stock 3.5ml Vivi Nova version 2.5 tank/atty on a lanyard. Have been exclusively for about the past two months or so, ever since I got it, while my VMax sits and pouts. As someone just said in this thread, it's fun to play with the fancy menus for a while, but when vapor clears, it's just damn nice to have a smaller package with a little dial on the bottom that you can just turn up or down much more easily than scrolling through a menu. To me, I get just about the exact same vape, and it's just more convenient all the way around. That's why I recommend this setup so frequently and fervently; after a year of researching, this is what I use, and wish I could have just started with.

Sure, I'll have other stuff in the future I suppose. I really like (by reputation and testimony only) the ProVari V2 and Mini, the Apollo SS VTube, the Reo VV's, the Z-Atty, the Bulli atomizer, the GG Odysseus and Penelope, the Darwin, the Vision Spinner, and a whole bunch of other stuff, but for now, I just sit and vape on this, and will buy other stuff when and if the urge strikes me.

Hey, if I had diplomatic immunity and a ton of cash, I'd fly out there and see your beautiful country and bring in boatloads of stuff for you, and we could vape on a nice beach and drink cocktails with little umbrellas in them. In the meantime, I hope your customs guys continue to treat you acceptably well, and that you get all of the supplies you need to keep you off of the killer ciggies.

Enjoy your vape, and your time in this forum, which I think you'll grow to thoroughly enjoy as much as I do.

Best regards, John D

Spidey, feel free to keep goofing off; our trade balance is completely out of whack, so whatever you can do to reduce foreign production would be greatly appreciated.

Nice talking with you, and vape on, my foreign friend! :vapor:

Since you seem to be a TH guy, here's a thread you might like:

Hiya bols, welcome to the forum, and to your new life as an ex-slave to ciggies!

Hey, I know you requested "no jokes", but that was pretty funny; "my problem is I'm Canadian". :)

"Hmm, let's see ..... wow, canadian huh ...... yeah, that's a problem all right ..... dang ......" lol

Seriously though, I happen to LOVE Canadians; you guys are very cool in my book; friendly, laid-back, socially progressive, fun-loving, and just all-around good people. And of course, also brave and important allies in World War 2, World War 1, and many other conflicts when the world needed a hand.

So, on to the juice thing; I don't know all the ins and outs of getting nic juice in Canada, that is for sure, but there are quite a few Canadians in this forum, and I've never heard of anyone just plain not being able to get juice. And hey, first things first; the search function on this site is very, very good, and there might be as many as a million posts so far. If you search on "canada juice customs" and various similar combinations of words, you'll get a whole lot of info, for sure.

And yeah, by rights, instead of asking in one thread, you should just start a thread with a specific question that you might still have after searching for the answer, but I think you're fine for just asking where to ask. Plus, you have the perfect excuse; "Hey, I'm Canadian"

Welcome to the forums :) Get to 5 posts, and then head to the Canadian Forum here. At the top are some stickies, PM them and ask for the canadian supplier/juice info. They'll send you a link to the spreadsheets they have. There are a lot of suppliers up there. One of my Canadian friends gets all of her juice in Canada so she doesn't have to deal with customs. I ordered some ejuice from down here in the States and it looks like it has been sitting in customs since the 10th...I just wanted to see how long it would take.
