Just curious, it looks like a lot of ppl are starting with the 510 and others vs. the 808... Is there a big reason for that?
I kinda wish I had started w/ a KR8. I started w/ a 40x and quickly stepped up to a 510 auto. Granted, 510 is better than a 40x, but I recently traded my 510 batts for some KR8s. I really like the KR8s ALOT better. First off, the vacuum switch doesn't fire in the car(like my 510s), the vapor is much more consistent and much warmer. I do think that w/ some juice my eGo(same voltage as the 510) does taste better, but my current favorites are my SmokeStik 4081s. I have a use for all of them. But currently my eGos are backup, and I am really liking these autos. The 510 really put me off to autos, especially after getting an eGo.
Ignorance. I started with the 510 because that's what I was told. Was going to start with 901 but now that I know the KR808 would be my pick. Although since I tried the Pitbull it would be the one if it was sold at that time.Just curious, it looks like a lot of ppl are starting with the 510 and others vs. the 808... What's the hype?
The eGo is no way at same voltage as a 510 battery the eGo is 3.2v (it says 3.7 but thats not accurate) The 510 is roughly on a good battery 2.3v the KR808D-1 is true 3.7 and some atomizers will over volt and fail in 3 days. also there is a DSE 808 so you have to explain which one your talking about. if your useing the DSE 808 its kicking out mad vapor because of the 801 atomizer is designed to do just that the 510 is very crummy at vapor production until it is close to dieing because of defects in its design.
I personally favor a 306 atty on a KR8 battery with an adapter.
