I snagged a pretty mosaic tile bistro table at Lowes yesterday on clearance for $25, it had been $98. I haven't put it together yet, but I made them let me open the box to make sure the top wasn't damaged before I paid for it
We will need pics when you get that together.

Thanks All for the Birthday Wishes.

Kia and "the boy" are here for 48 hours... literally !!!

They are in a short film competition. There are 130 teams that are trying to win. At 7pm yesterday, contestants were given two criteria to make a 7min film. Kia and "the boy" grabbed what was needed and headed here. They got their team together and had the outline of the script by 1am.
They have until 7pm tomorrow night (48hrs) to have it submitted. I'm not sure how long it will be before the winner is announced!!!

Good luck Kia and "the Boy"!!

Put the tile top table together this afternoon, and it's actually perfect for my tiny little dining area! The chairs that came with the wooden table dining set I bought when I moved in, match it perfectly...and now I have a reason to finish putting them together  I'm using that dining table for my big computer desk

No judging the dog hair covered living room rug...!!

Nice table....I missed the dog hair....prolly blind to that....

Good luck to DD and the "Boy"......Cuzzo's Son finished film school last Fall....So far nothing has come from that....he works at a kid's gym and catches every dang virus known....

Mechanic Cuzzo has congestive heart failure.....I've been advising his Son at the shop while Cuzzo has been in the hospital the last 12 days....heart outta rhythm...fluid around heart....something wrong with his foot that has required a cast for 6 months now....I don't like where any of this is going....Cuzzo's Brother has a growth on both side of his liver and HellYeah....cancer.....

I got arthritis in my left knee and I guess the pain in my hip is arthritis as well....fingers sometimes as well...Prepping to hit the beach and prime those walls...I got some Valspar "adhesion" primer....says it sticks to shiny stuff and wall paper....I sanded the wall paper and shiny stuff with 120 grit and bet this.....I gave it Unholy Hell.....So maybe it'll stick....I'll be damn glad when I get those rooms back on line......

Whee, our water heater is leaking at the base. Since everything on top is dry, no leak at the pressure valve or drain valve, I suspect it's a premature tank failure.

Ahh, well, tank is still within the limited warranty period. Time to get the installer out, replace it. Since it's still in the parts wty zone, we'll have to pay labor but likely have a brand new water heater [emoji106]

Best I can tell, if the tank portion fails it's a true full replacement.

Hoping the best for your cuzzos ElDee.

Mark best of luck with the water heater.

Bov loving the new avi!! <3

I have an extra soft spot for a few of our oldies. Knew it would happen. Last week we got word that one of them went to the hospital. Thought about her all week. Got word yesterday that she passed on Sunday. :( At 102, she lived a good long life and I hope she knew how much I enjoyed spending time with her over these last 4 months. God speed Mary. ;)

I'm sorry to hear that, Tracy. I am positive you were a ray of sunshine in her life

We have a new plasma donation center that opened here about a month ago. I visited when they first opened, and they were so overwhelmed with people that they were suggesting people give them a little time for things to settle down. I went today and got all registered, checked over, and had their physical. It took about 3.5 hours to go thru everything to be able to donate. I've been a blood donor for years, but plasma is a great way for me to make a little extra money while still giving back to the community. So glad I decided to go :)

Just in from the beach....I got the walls in both rooms ready for paint....I used Valspar primer from Lowes....it's thick and takes some skills to lay it down but it does a good job....There were some bad storms down there...Sis texted a pic of a funnel cloud that touched briefly in Scotts Hill NC....I was in Lowes at the time the pic of the funnel was taken about a mile away....Funny I was in my local Sanford Lowes a couple of hours before a tornado leveled the building a couple of years ago....If tornadoes are possible stay the fekk away from Lowes...OK?? With the rain and the soil being sandy there was some humidity present....Spike had taken to a 8 am stroll and it was so hot out as I passed into the shadow of a single pine tree I felt it cool off considerably....12 inch wide shade and cooler by a good bit...Dang.....Now I gotta roll some ceiling white......roll some light gray on the bedroom walls....a nice shade of light blue in the bath.....a little white trim in the bedroom and the paint and much of the work will be done....I gotta hit Lowes for supplies so I guess I best check the forecast.....

Thanks for the well wishes for Cuzzos....They're good boys for the most part...We're all starting to show our age.....
