I haven't removed one completely, but I'm confident that at least a portion of it is threaded, which means there's little risk of it spinning.

I do get irritated at things as we all do, but I think I've just had a bad day and kinda taken it out on my pet peeves in the forums. It illustrates to me an unfortunate fact in my life, and dare I say, many people experience this in their lives too: the ugly outweighs the good if you let it. Ultimately, people here are trying to help, and even when they seem condescending it's unlikely they intend to. We're all a family. I guess I just focused too much on what I saw as negative in some posts today. I should focus on the positive and remember it is the real winner. There's so many good folk here, and I'm sorry for coming across as a crud. I really am sorry and hope you fine people forgive me for it.

I really don't quite know how all this drama started. I simply reacted to a post that accused RxW users of belittling people who don't use it and that we overhyped the product and tried to shove it down peoples throats. It is true that there are a few posts that fit that bill and are a bit strong but in general I didn't think that was a fair comment to the rest of us. I never once accused anyone of not doing it right or insinuated that people were doing it wrong. I also have never said "user error" to anyone because I for one have experienced many "user errors". It's called the learning process. Contrary to the statement that cotton can't be burned, I know for a fact it does because I have done it numerous times! ( user error) !I wonder if anyone else that first tried using cotton and other wick mediums have ever burned a wick during the learning process? If not then I guess I'm stupid and incompetent!
Lastly regarding the people in REOville, I again disagree with the comment that in general we are" a---holes " that think we know it all and belittle others. Again true for a few but to make a general statement like that is stereotyping and I don't think it's fair. In general I think people here are the best group of people on ECF. Yes there are some strong willed people here that sometimes let the passion for what they believe in come out a bit strong but hey we all have our opinions. I one disagrees, one can ignore those few. I guess bashing the community as a whole for the opinions of a few got my tighty whities in a bunch. Like attacking the family!
