The best reviewer did a tutorial on vertical coil for the1 Crius. Hopefully he'll be getting the Cuboid review up but I'm sure it takes him forever as he breaks mods down like PBusardo on steroids.

I think someone needs to donate him some decent scissors lol. I might have to try his technique.

Guys, I suggest to stay away from Ijoy Reaper Plus. Some genius in Chana, decided that Positive post does not need to be threaded and just snapped it on the positive pin semi-loosely. As a result, I don't think it is even safe to use it. Please, forgive me my first animation. :)

I, of course, will redo this ugly design, when I'll get a chance. But for now, I refuse even to put a build in it.

Well, that's disappointing. Take a good thing and screw it up by trying to cut the wrong corners. That tank showed a lot of promise, if they had just done it right.

Damn, that's a shame. Except for the small post holes the Reaper Plus was looking quite promising.

More updates on the Crius clone. It took a beating yesterday. I was in a hurry trying to catch the bus and my Evic vtc mini with the Crius fell out of my jacket pocket. Hard fall, but both survived well. However, the afc now spins freely, though with some crunchiness, and the gap between the afc and jfc is wider. Still, it seems to "sweat" less now. Weird.

Here's a review I posted on another thread for a pre-release Cuboid Joyetech sent me for review.

CUBOID REVIEW

It's been almost a week now testing the Cuboid APV. I really like the size and feel of this mod. It's quite small for a dual 18650 mod and feature rich, especially at <$60 US. This mod is near flawless but there is always room for a few improvements.

DISPAY: It's bright enough for indoor and shade but fades in sunlight to near unreadable. Screen resolution is suberb.

MENU SYSTEM: Similar to the VT60 but more closely resembles the VTC mini. I like how the ADJ TCR values are performed in a separate menu system but the three separate tcr values stored there are accessible from the main menu as M1, M2 and M3. Brilliant, it keeps the user from accidentally changing tcr values stored in memory while in the main menu.

MODES: Wattage Mode and VT Modes all work fine with Kanthal, NiChrome, Ni200, 316SS , 430SS, Titanium and NiFe52. The Mod never jumped out of VT Mode with any of my builds. The wide range of usable coil resistances in the VT Mode makes choosing wire guage less critical and gives me the opportunity to use up some of the extra spools of lighter gauge wire I have lying around.

510 CONNECTOR: The spring loaded brass 510 positive pin provides good pressure against atomizers and provided very stable and repeatable resistance readings. The threading is smooth but could be a little tighter. All of my atomizers wobble when threaded in until the atomizer base makes contact with the mod. The 510 connector is mounted a little low within the 22mm depression on the top of the mod and can encourage juice to migrate into the mod. An additional raised annular ring could be added midway between the 510 connector and the 22mm depression to channel the juice away from the 510 connector.

BATTERY DOOR: It works fine and I don't foresee having long term issues with it. The latching mechanism seems robust however the door is fussy to open when batteries are not installed.

BATTERY MONITOR: The battery monitors work ok but are not accurate on my sample. The left monitor always shows a smaller charge than the right even when I reverse the battery positions.

BATTERY CHARGING: Even though the manual specifically states not to charge the batteries via the usb port I tried anyway. It does charge however it only charges to 4.0v.

USB: I'm very happy to see Joyetech offer firmware upgrade ability to these newer generation of mods but I do not like the location of the USB Port. If and when Joyetech perfects series battery balanced charging and allows charging through the USB Port I would like to see the port located near the bottom of the mod.

FIRE BUTTON: It's nice. A firm click when depressed and no rattle. I like the oval shape and it never has misfired.

AESTHETICS & WEIGHT: Everyone who has seen the mod loves the look and feel and they all commented on the weight; some commenting that the weight indicates high quality, others commenting that it was heavy for it's size. I agree with both however it is no heavier than my Evic VT60 or my Rouleaux DNA200.

FIT & FINISH: The brushed finish is nice and does show finger prints a bit. The display cover shows finger prints badly (Snow Wolf-ish). The fit is way above average for its price. Nicely made.

Overall I love this mod and would have bought one had I not won one. I highly recommend this mod to vapers who would like to experience tc vaping or those who would like to take the next step with adjustable tcr.

OK guys, I'm not trying to rain on anybody's Reaper Plus parade. I'm just showing you what I had discovered in mine.
I took care of the spinning positive post by drilling, threading and installing M1.6 screw. But I noticed, that the post, the pin and, possible the entire base are made out of Chromed Brass.

Also, an O-Ring on the removable base, is above the bottom of the juice channels. It is going to leak.

Two 26 gauge NiFe48 coils and Rayon build works fine.

It will do max VG, but it would probably really shine drilling the holes a bit more IMHO. I have been thinking about doing that but I haven't done it yet.
Is not a bad idea whatsoever actually. I do wish they had the air hole lip to help keep juice at bay, but I guess some manufacturers just don't fully care about every aspect of the product.

Great tank but don't understand why they drilled the post holes all the way through
Yeah, that is a big no, no. I usually use 24ga Ti or twisted 26 or 28ga with that atty to deal with that. Otherwise I usually either snap the wire or get a bad connection.

And the grub screws are very fragile....I don't crank them down hard but already stripped 3 of them .
