Yes thank you the pin does protrude the threads...I'm using the same tank right now and not sure of the fix either.the 510 is threaded on the outside and the pin is in the middle of the threads.see if the post is up and able to push down to make the pin in the middle, should protrude down a little past the threads, does it?
Yep; that'll do it. The problem is that the posts are hollow, and threaded beyond the bottom of the hole. If you over-tighten the screw, it will act like a blade, and cut right through the lead. That can add to an intermittent connection (causing inaccurate readings), and/or open circuits (the "no atty" error).I
I believe that msy be exactly the problem i definitely tighten them a lot when putting the coil
Yup.. ill check when the new coils come in thanks so much joel!!Yep; that'll do it. The problem is that the posts are hollow, and threaded beyoond the bottom of the hole. Does that mean you got it working? Or, are you going to wait for your replacement coils?Hey guys just wanna thank you not only did it fix the problem but also now i am enjoying the vape beforei got a burnt hit... thx !!!
I'm happy to do it. We sometimes forget what a learning curve it can be for those new to any particular area of vaping. There is no governing body to "define" terms, so there can be different intentions/meaning when using certain words; and few (if any) instructions or pictorials, to help explain things. I'm just hoping to clarify things a bit. I am glad to hear it helped! And thanks so much for the explanation and the picture.. really greatful
