Thanks for the thread! I have one on the way to me from china and will show up in about a week and am excidingly reading about your experiences untill recieving mine to play with. I'm looking for an alternative nice single-coil rta to rival my merlin for a nice lightly restricted DL experience at 25'ish watts with regular round-wire. I have currently retired my dual-coil RTAs/RDAs for the smaller juice-consumption and battery-life of single-coil RTAs, and missed the OBS engine as didn't got to order it back when was into duals, so this just rocks to me :)

Welcome to the cult, er, club!
Seems to be a lot of us wanting a nice single coil tank nowadays.
This one's great, as you can tell from the various folks who are in here.

You know, this is one tank that I haven't had to play with to get a great vape. Of course, I always put the coil as high as possible relative to the posts, and I now understand that makes a difference.
Otherwise, it is carefree vaping. No leaks, seepage, condensation. No trying this and that wicking method, I just cut the cotton just inside the deck ring and tuck it under the coil so it covers the juice ports. Vaping 35/65 PG/VG even outside during a New England winter there isn't a hint of it not keeping up.
I accidentally turn the AFC way down the other day. From that I'm guessing this would make a great MTL tank as well as my DL method.
As for flavor, I vape DIY 2 flavor mixes. On a scale of 100, I'd give this tank a solid 90. Of course, that is subjective and my experience. I really don't know what a tank with 95 would allow me to taste that this doesn't though.
In all, I'd happily trade a touch of flavor for a leak-free experience.

So, I guess what I'm trying to say (but got carried away), is that this tank makes vaping almost as carefree as flipping the top and flicking my lighter. That's the highest praise I could possibly give and the first time I've ever felt that way in the 4 years I've been vaping.

Wooo Hooo my Nano is in the UK and hopefully here tomorrow, looking forward to trying it :rickroll:

Another Dance in order the postman has just delivered my Nano to my office. Looking forward to setting this up tonight. Any tips?

I usually in my AMMIT use a twisted 26g Nichrome 80 around a 3mm coil master rod, 5 loops gives me about 0.35 - 0.40 running at 32 watts which I enjoy.

Will report back once I have it set up to let you know my thoughts

:rickroll:

Well? Do we have to guess where?:)

Yay! You've been wanting that one!

That's a good deal on a DNA 75. I like my VT75 I got on that ECigCity sale a while back for $50.

If anyone is looking for a good deal on another mod vaporcube has codes on their home page for 50% off hohm tech slice and g2 - HΩ Wrecker G2 (Hohm Wrecker) 171W Temperature Control Box Mod

I told myself I would not order anything til this spring but I have been wanting a g2 for some time and 2 for the price of one was too good of a deal for me to ignore. Cost me about $143 for 2 of them shipped 2 day priority.

Hohm Wrecker should update their box to fit 24-25mm attys (please) even this Nano will overhang...and virtually all of my RDTAs and newer tanks.

It's not exactly ergonomically looking to begin with, but combined with the overhang does make it a less attractive mod option, even at that price. I have very few 23 mm and under RTAs in use anymore.

I'm hoping that these Engines and the Ocular will slow down my buying for a little while.

Oh, good luck with that.:rolleyes::lol:

You know when the single deck 23 mm version eventually gets released, you'll want that one too (I know I will). And then there's that really nice AL85, which looks like a Pico but will fit that 25 mm Engine, and then there's......................
