    Somewhere between here and there
Try doing a 2mm coil. I was a 3mm + coil on everything until this Engine Nano. It just makes more flavor for some strange reason. Use something simple at first just to see what happens.

I just did a 2mm coil with the same 26/32 Clapton wire. It came out a little higher than I normally use. It is .7 ohm. If the first couple draws are any indication then yes the flavor does seem better than with the 3mm coil. I noticed when I first opened it up that one side of my coil in the 3mm looked a little dry so maybe I had too much wick in the hole and it wasn't letting it wick very well.

For me, it's all about the air flow, man. On the kayfun, 25-30 watts means super dense and warm, but on the engine nano, 50 watts feels just so airy.
I fully agree, way too much air in the chamber that cant be turned down or fine tuned. If it had a single narrower slot in the chamber, you would see much better performance IMHO.

I vaped 35W+/- on kayfun's, Taifun's and Flash-e's back in the day, just can't see 30-40W on the nano providing anything near a dense vape.

My Combo has dual triple core 3mm aliens (0.1Ω), airflow open 3/4 which is directly centered at the bottom of edge of each coil and provides a really thick dense vapor. I can vape the 6ml tank dry over a coffee if I'm so inclined. I guess it really all depends on your definition of dense vapor.

No offense intended, but I just cant understand how some are finding any negatives in the flavor dept with this. Or clouds for that matter. Id love to try what others think is good to them(have 2 minis coming) because I cant imagine things getting better than this.
It is a mystery to me too. I really wanted and expected to love these. Ordered two right away.
My comparisons are side to side with the original engine and mini. Same liquids. Same coil type. Same mode. I adjusted the diameter, placement of the coil. Adjusted air. I honestly get very little flavor compared to the other engines. My guess is the side airflow and single coil combined are the issues for me. After way to much time with them I have just shelved them. I am really glad others are having good luck. That is all that really matters.

Wet it down and do some firing to get rid of the initial wick off taste

    Airflow closed 50%, 24w.

This has been consistently excellent for me [emoji3]

That guy is a ......... I could barely listen to him.
Heh! Fortunately, he tossed out a vapor/flavor opinion pretty quickly, and that's all I was after. I left when he started talking about beer. I sure don't need his help with this tank. 24ga SS316L, 9-wrap 2.5mmID is the way it works for me. I choke the airflow down about 80% and it's wonder vape.

No, just regular 24 in stainless and kanthal. Someone in another thread was bragging on the triple twisted 28ga kanthal so I bought a spool of that but haven't tried it yet.
I made some twisted 28g before. I wonder if triple twisting could be made the same way??? Going to look at youtube now.
